Any room left in your region?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for an active region to join. I've been practicing, trying, failing, salvaging, and learning in another region for a while now. I finally successfully built up a pretty good city - well good for me LOL - almost 200k and profitable. I feel confident that I could join a region with active players. The region I'm in is a learning environment for a lot of awesome peeps but they're not on a lot and I'm definitely seeing the trouble with that. I'd like to find a place I can call a new home and really work with people who are interested in challenges and the like. I think i still have a lot to learn - tons in fact - but I'd like to actively do so. This forum has been great so I'm hoping to meet some additional great mayors Add/Invite me : revenantsoul Thanks

My apologies to EVERYONE who joined my region. I'm still learning and FAILING miserably .... I apologize that things haven't been running smoothly and people haven't been working together. It took me FOREVER to understand why we couldn't connect to anyone across the way because the guy between both regions with the rail connection had abandoned his city .... I tried to salavge it after a nuclear meltdown but I'm having a hell of a hard time. I ran out of water in 2 cities and ...... GAH I just ........... I'm sorry. I really am still a novice but I am learning every single time .... I'm gettig better. My first city I couldn't get above 60k people. Second city I got up to 105k. I am going to be starting a new region soon if anyone is interested. I really would like to work with neighbors better and learn even more. This forum has been great in helping me solve some unanswered questions .... Again, my apologies ... I really couldn't learn all this stuff playing on my own ... I didn't understand how regions truly worked until now.

Hey everyone. I've had great luck in this forum finding awesome and friendly players for my region so I thought I'd try posting a question I really can't seem to figure out. It's possible I just don't understand how this system works .... I have ORE in my region - quite a bit. I set up some 3 ore mines that have all four extensions. They're mining away I have coal also and I have a coal mine going. I setup 2 smelters to make METAL and ALLOY and that is working. I setup a trade depot and added some storage and set everything to export - added the max 4 trucks. I do notice my depot filling up and I am getting some income from sales. But the cost of my specialization is huge - like 6k an hour - and the profit is really minimal - maybe 2k Am I missing something and I just don't understand how this works? In fact it seems now - according to my budget - I am making NO money per hour even though things are selling. I even have a trade depot attached to heavy rail and I am shipping out things that way but I am making a few grand maybe? I am pretty lost here and my city is hemmoraging money ... I'll be pretty broke soon. I think I will have to give up on this city but I managed to get further than I ever have before. 75k people. I just would like to know what I am missing for next time so maybe I can improve on my mistakes. Any help would be much appreciated. Elaine

Thanks so much Nachoraver I saw you join and welcome. I'm glad to have people coming to my region. I'm really learning a lot from everyone elses experiences and advice. I think we'll be able to build up a great region together! I hope to be able to ask you some questions and learn from your success on Antarctica

Thanks Bluestorm for responding I sent you a friend request. When you join the North American East 3 server I'll be able to invite you to my region. I appreciate you being willing to try things out with Deker and I Hopefully we'll get even more people. I'm still learning as well but having multiple cities in the region helps in the long run.

Server : North American East 3 Region : Shodan Von Braun Been practicing as best I can on some other regions and server but I feel finally ready to play with other people more seriously. I'm still working out how to really do well but I know I'll be able to learn better playing consistently with other people in a region. I haven't had much luck with other regions - people come and go or give up - so I decided to start my own and see if I could find players here. I hope to find people who are good people, willing to teach and help, and who are friendly to play with. Thanks for reading this. See you all online sometime
