I changed the title from 'DRM' to server dependent online games. Seems more apt. What happens here ? Does EA even have to react to this? Strength in numbers.. Government can only care about issues that affect more people or somebody rich/powerful is lobbying for the issue.

I had the latest NVIDIA performance drivers and got my one city up to 160,000 population 6 days after release. Then i abandoned it and started a new city and city goto to 100,000 and then started crashing every 5 minutes. Firewall, Internet shouldn't cause a program to freeze and crash. I got good internet. Not sure what caused it. I just got refunded by amazon. Hopefully the game will get better and better and then in like 3 months I will pick it up after issues are resolved and all features are restored.

I couldn't deal wit it anymore. i just had my money refunded from Amazon. Will try the game in 6 months if they fix it and make everything better. Not worth wasting my time over stupid issues they should have fixed. This server thing is a big mess too because in the past if an update didnt work for you..you could roll back. Here its on the server..so everybody has to update and you have to do a lot of testing to make sure nobody is affected. Since there are so many issues with the game and people are clamoring EA to get it fixed, EA is in a hurry too.

To everybody, not the president wont see this, but you think he sees everything? He has got people working for him who look at this and take care of the business. Its like the CEO of your company. He doesn't see that your office is kept clean-the company just hire people to do it. The point is no one man can make a difference but collectively we all can. Thanks.

After trying to figure out why game was freezing after a few minutes, I gave up. EA answers login also stopped working for me. Forgot password wouldnt work. Chat wouldnt work Was on hold with EA customer service for an 1hour and half. Just called in to amazon and got a refund and got it within 2 minutes. Am so glad!!!!!!!

SimCity has been crashing for me randomly after 1 minute or so. It only started happening in the last 2 days. I cannot even log into EA answers because I get an error ' This service is temporarily unavailable'. Wow what a mess. I don't know what triggered this but thinking its one of the updates. I have a GeForce GT540M and it was playing it ok with medium settings before. Anybody facing this issue?

http://answers.ea.com/ is this site down for logging in a posting replies? For the last 3 days, I am getting an error ' This service is not available'. Is this happening to anybody else? Thanks
