It took 2 days, but I've finally read this entire CJ. I found it particularly special for this reason:
When my parents broke down and got a computer with a colour display back in the early 90s, I christened it with Sim City Classic. For some reason the game had an unnatural allure for my mom, who would play it with more obsession than I had seen in anybody. Eventually she became frustrated and stopped playing because of the lack of realism. For instance, she discovered early on that if a road becomes too congested, you just break up the road. I have gotten every version of the game since, but she has mysteriously resisted the temptations.
Fast forward to a few days ago. My computer needed a good clean up and as I was reinstalling programs I rediscovered my copy of SC4 and RH. Since I never actually play lace w:st="on">SimCitylace> I decided to check out some mods to see what was available. That's how I discovered this journal. This is where the connection is.
Those who don't live in lace w:st="on">Edmontonlace> may have heard grumblings about our city's transportation system, but unless you've spent 2 hours on Yellowhead trying to get across town, the frustration seems overblown.
A few days before I brought up the subject of Edmonton's road problems and mom - who has to take the 'Head twice a day practically screamed, It's like they made it in Sim City!
Now, thanks you you TheJerseyDevil73, it has.
Congratulations on an astounding achievement. Local humor aside, our entire family is proud of our hometown and we all agree that your work to date is both exceptionally accurate and truly inspiring. You have renewed my admiration for this City of lace w:st="on">Championslace> and have shown in your own way why we are so named.
With that in mind: Isn't the CN tower in lace w:st="on">Torontolace>?
