wt?!! I suppose 10 years to prepare for this game isn't much time to get it right? Im not a hater. I loved the old sim city games. But sorry, paying $80 to bring it home and stare at a "SIM CITY SERVER DOWN" msg for 6 hours does not let me share your sentiment of patience. This is not a game thrown together by your nerdy tech mate next door. Maybe then you'd give slack where it is due. You don't go into a restaurant and pay for your meal and think it's ok for them to serve it to you in a day or so!
I have nothing against having online components of a game, but to have it mandatory? my internet connection is fast and fine, but I rely on a server being up or fast to be able to play a game? Diablo III was just as bad, was down for 3 days once. Maybe it's because the U.S maintenance window is in Australian prime time use????
To summate, from my perspective, the launch is a disaster, regardless of whether the game is or not.
