I had this very same problem earlier but I fixed it when I updated my drivers. If your on windows 7 press the windows button and R at the same time then type dxdiag. figure out, by looking at the info, what drivers you have for your display and download the latest version online. Usually you should just be able to run it after you download it and it will do all of the work for you. Also, run the game as an administrator.

I have been trying, for the past 6 hours, to play SimCity. Usually will get stuck at the login screen telling me I'm at 100 percent and checking for updates. If I get past that screen I am presented with a 30 minute queue, after which I am forwarded to the usual continue game screen only it says the servers are down and I am still unable to play even though I waited in the half-hour queue. Am I the only one with this problem?

Ive been playing fine in the pass, making multiple cities, and they work fine. But, just today when i try to play I made a few new cities and about 10 minutes into each of them my game crashes and windows popup says SimCity has stopped working.. cant figure it out.

I literally purchased mine at like 10 or 11 PM last night, I was too nervous to purchase it at first because my primary computer is a Mac but I'm really hoping when they release it for Mac, I'll get it for free. Yeah that's understandable then, check your email periodically because that's how I was notified that mine was available for download. I am checking email and my origin account. nothing yet. I am in que for help, but have 95 mins.;lol When did u preorder the game??? and my queue is 300 mins... I pre-ordered at exactly 10:58 PM March 4th, 2013. I'm guessing my file is finished, now its asking to restart. I'll continue my updates. Did you order the digital deluxe or the limited? he ordered the delux. How are the servers??
