Hi guys! I've been playing SimCity for 6 or so hours now and although I'm still very much enjoying the game, I still haven't had a chance to try out online region play due to all cities being claimed. If anyone would like to play, then add my Origin. dnfunk

Purchased SimCity via PayPal (digital download) - it's not showing on Origin yet and recent purchases on the Origin site says "There are no orders for the time selected.". Does anyone know how long it'll take?

Nevermind Origin screw up or something, gave me a physical purchase, support trying to fix it now.

I have seen a lot of bug reports and issue reports, I just wondered if EA/Maxis have responded to and/or dealt with any of the issues? There's nothing on the Sim City blog (from what I can see) that apologizes for any problems - I guess if anywhere it'd be on the update list, but I cant find any update list...

I apologize if this one is getting old, I'm sure it's been asked many times before, but I had to ask because I cannot find a straight answer online from a recent date. You can most likely guess what my question is, do I have to be online the entire time. EA must understand that perhaps there is an internet connectivity problem in some areas, perhaps there is maintenance happening, or perhaps I just want to play this game whilst outside, on my laptop, enjoy a nice drink of Fanta... Yeah, anyway. That's my question, if I can get a straight answer, preferably confirmed, I'd be very grateful. I have no problem with the game being online, I was never a big fan of the old Sim City games, I mean, I love city building, planning and tasks alike, but Sim City never appealed to me, until now. But, before purchasing I want to have some security, will I be able to play this game, for the rest of my little life.

To be honest, I expect to be hooked on this. Really, really cant wait. The thing that worried me was seeing said critics announcing that when the game is a lost cause (for EA), they'll shut down the servers. That's why I'd like an offline mode, but yeah I absolutely LOVE online, so that feature will be awesome.
