go to cities skylines workshop, find the mod you want. i.e. All Areas click on subscribe. In Game, In the Main Menu, go to Content Manager. Under mods, turn on the All Areas mod and then presto. Then you are done

Well, that's a relief. I like creating nature in SimCity 4 Deluxe. If I can cheat and build large spaces anytime, can I create huge forests or lakes? Is there any terraforming in this game? no terraforming yet (or ever?) once the region is created. You can create your own maps beforehand though.

you can use whichever platform you want, as long as steam is installed. you don't have to buy additional copies afaik as long as a single instance of steam is logged it at the same time. Also, for mac/linux make sure to disable the steam overlay for now, since apparently there is a bug.
