Hello all First of all I played about a year the basic game, with no expansions. It was very fun and went really well. Recently I decided to buy The Cities of Tomorrow pack. It looked very cool and interesting. Today I ended up my third game because of bankrupt. I`ll try to explain the situation: Usually I place and build the basic residential, commercial and industrial zones( and schools, parks etc. of course). When my economy grows a bit and I have about 100-200K$ I build the megatowers. Again, everything is just fine! my residential floors are very happy. I Place commercial zones around the tower also. I also placed a clinic, a police station, parks, bus station, railroad station and a school. In the tower, I placed a commercial level also. Again, everything is just fine and I earn a lot of money. Suddenly it always happen - they get EXTREMELY UNHAPPY! " We couldn`t find even one shop." "We couldn`t find a job." "There are not enough shops." (3 Residential levels, 1 commercial, haven`t built more yet.) People of course start leaving... the commercial level has 0 customers. I haven`t managed to return those people. This is a $ tower. In other case everything was exactly the same - but it was a $$ tower and it had a few residential, one commercial and a park crown... they just LEAVE and never return. I`m really exhausted and always get bankrupted. I would be very happy if you guys could help me to solve the situation! Sincerely, Sharon

Hello I did something and I dont know what. I`d be happy if you guys could help me return to the normal mode. I want to destroy only one building - but it selects the whole street. Thanks

Thanks alot guys! Your comments helped alot. I`ve found the reason - my residential($) is VERY high, ($$$) low or negative. My commercial($) demand is OK, while ($$$) demand is negative. How can I make the demand for ($$$) high?

Sorry I was no help but glad you got the problem solved. It can really be frustrating when you don't know which way to turn. Now you can Sim on! Don`t sorry. The site you gave me is very useful! Thank you! untiteld 2.jpg Nice little city just like some I used to make. Now I mostly work on the big spaces. I know I'm not your campaign manager but if you expect to get elected mayor again you will have to do something about your budget! Check those schools, hospitals, and replace old water and power plants because their costs go up as they age. Trim any non essential ordinances and temporarily cut back on school buses and ambulances if all else fails. Then they may re-elect you by a landslide.
