Just played the Beta for one hour. I have to agree with the reviewer: this game has some major flaws. I've been playing since SimCity Classic and I don't think this game is worth 60$.
I was able to fill 3/4 of this way too small map in one hour. Total population was about 16k. This is SimTown, not Simcity. Zoning is awkward.
However, the abilty to upgrade some traditionnal buildings is a big plus. Simulation is also more complex and I appreciate it. It ran perfectly on my computer (Acer i7-970). No glitches, but poor graphics.
Sorry guys at Maxis, but I don't think I will buy this game unless you add more features and much bigger maps. I don't care for regions or multiplayers. I just want a game like Sim City 4, but with some improvements.
