For some unknown reason I can't see the first two pictures. Don't worry the others convey the devastation. I am glad we're getting started on the Quest......

I get $2.00 bills all the time from the recycle center and the only problem I've had using them was the light rail ticket vending machine wouldn't take it. Of course the only place I recall using them has been the local 'bandit' market just a block from the recycle center (homeless/indigents take cans and bottles to recycle center then they are off to the 'bandit' market for their booze)

okay, enough of he flooding - I know, I know - you really enjoyed it but I'm getting anxious for them to get going....

You flooded the city! Jeez, how long is it going to take FEMA to get there? Oops! Different city! Aside from not putting tomato in my stew (must be a Midwestern thing, eh?), good update! You're right the flooding pictures are really great, I liked the close ups best where you can see the bottoms of the houses under the 'rain' but the region is a close 2nd!

Good grief Greg, I can't believe I missed your new journal start! And at ten pages now! I had noticed the name of the journal but I haven't paid much attention to journals lately. Welcome to ST Iamthefuture, the problem you've encountered is that you are missing dependencies. Go back to the lots read me and look for the dependency list. Down load and install those and you should be fine. Good luck! Vicki

Welcome Pakole, in addition to the excellent answers provided don't forget to have deep water for the ferry to land, if the water is too shallow it won't land and you'll have had the expense for nothing!

I'm sorry I didn't understand that you were joking - it's difficult to "read" intentions on forums like this. To answer one question, NAM is Network Add on Mod, which is a mod to make the networks (road, rail, GLR [ground light rail], etc.) work more realistic. You must have the Deluxe version or the Rush Hour addition for it to work. As a matter of fact, you must have Deluxe/Rush Hour for most of the stuff here to work. Also, you need the updates from the official SC4 site. Good Luck, Vicki

Saying "I'm to lazy to look" is not the way to get help. Please search (the search function is to the left) on the STEX (the button is above) for the things you need/want. I usually place a large police station (the one withe the 'copter) next to the Airport, that seems to help a little, otherwise there isn't much you can do....

Hi Bendersky, Welcome to ST! First, you should check out the Omnibus section (there is a button right above here), it will give you a lot of information. As to your questions 1) yes, the omnibus has info on how to do that. 2) no, there is a program developed by one of the SC fans that will allow you to use gray scale maps to develop your own region, read Three Rivers Region (a City Journal for info and down load SC Terraformer). 3) there is a way to turn off the street when zoning but I never remember how, most people place their streets then zone (I think). 4) yes, as soon as traffic increases you'll be asked/told to change to roads (then the stupid adviser will tell you you have too many roads and they cost too much!). 5) I don't know this one 6) NAM is a must have (Network Add on Mod - it makes the transportation network more realistic, also a slope mod for the same reason), I'd also consider the BSC farms must have but you have to get them at SC4Devotion now, others, just take your time and figure out what you like, keep your plug in folder neat and get the Data Packer from SC4Devotion. Try searching if you have more questions and Enjoy!
