So, the simcity.ea.com site seems to no longer exist. Entering that URL or clicking a link to that URL takes you to a facebook page that no longer exists.
There is now simcity.com - which takes you to a page mostly dedicated to the new simcity game being made. You can navigate from there to a page for SimCity 4. However, there are no downloads (no new landmarks, etc.) available.
There is only 1 patch file available - not 2 as mentioned in the article above. I applied the 1 patch available and I do have nightlights working in my game. However I got several messages when installing it that files already existed - so I have no idea if something went wrong and didn't get applied or what. I think all is working well however the game has crashed on me a few times (after several hours of play, though.)
The version number of my SimCity 4 .exe file reads 1.1.610.0 (not .640.0) and I can not find any patch other than the 1 available.
The SC4Devotion website is no longer there.
**ETA Update: The problem with the patch was that it is for the base SimCity 4 game. I have the Rush Hour/Deluxe version. That patch is not available on the "official" website. It can be found here: http://www.simprogra...ches-simcity-4/
