  1. What you HATE about SC4...

I save it in game then crash the game by pressing Crt-Alt-Dlt then end Process. It's a little quicker.
  2. Economy silences Atlanta...

It would cost so much money to bring highspeed rail to the U.S. But I think it's a wise exspense.
  3. Economy silences Atlanta...

    In a sad way.
  4. That's really sad. EA has a tendency of doing that to great games. They attempt to rush development leaving games that may have originally been good not under EA to sell large amounts and have a good fan following. But they rush their games (sometimes) leaving a feeling of half done. Sim City 4 compared to 3000 is a perfect example.
  5. Why doesn't the sim city franchise have a in-depth tutorial? This would eliminate the need for such games like Societies.
  6. If it says EA, then it is probably a terrible game! I'm sorry but this is too funny lol.
  7. "The jail is starving me to death"

I really feel sorry for the guy; he obviously isn't used to his new environment but he needs to realize were he's at. Jail is a serious place I really don’t think he will get very far with this. This will defiantly make him think next time before he commits another crime. Quick reply was giving me a hard time so I replyed to you.
  8. I think some other company may pick the game up and try their hand at it. Maxis is currently focused on new IP's like spore and their heavyweight title The Sims 2. Until the sim city franchise is really challenge by another game sim city is at a halt.
  9. CTD...wayyyyy too often.

I think it's an overload of the CPU. CTD usually happens in my larger cities were a lot of things are going on. Even with a small city this may happen because of the amount of plug-in and building and things going on in game. I really don't know how to solve this problem but more ram may help. Is this the only game that does this or do all older games made before Vista do this?
  10. Economy silences Atlanta...

Need4Camaro- I know but hasn't MARTA for years been trying to get other counties to accept their service. This gas thing may be the big push they need.
  11. Economy silences Atlanta...

I travel in between Atlanta and New York all the time (I think the last time I was in Atlanta was 3 months ago). Gas is such a problem my friends won't even pick me up from the airport until I can promise money lol. But Atlanta is a HUGE frappin place. Atlanta won't stop growing because of this gas problem. It's still much cheaper in Georgia than it is in most other states. If gas gets to expensive it may entice MARTA to grow. The Atlanta area is having problems enticing other counties to use MARTA this may be the big push they need.
  12. Economy silences Atlanta...

MARTA empty almost all the time. Nothing like The MTA.
  13. Farms - What are they good for?

They make the game seem realistic to me. Having million and millions of sim with no food in the region is strange. I like to fantasize with this game.
  14. road connections

I've noticed some of the most annoying problems that seem to be the hardest to figure out are the simplest to solve. Look closely for something you may have missed. I also must ask what speed are you playing the game in. sometimes it take my sims some time before they actually start building houses and that no road sign over the house goes away.
  15. SimCity 4 "Windowed"

right click the sim city 4 icon scroll down until you see properties at the bottom then click on properties. once in that window look around until you see target window and space then type -w. just do a little experienting (be careful) and you should be able to play in window mode. IMO it's much better way to play when you want to switch to desktop faster.
