Yes I sure could build a waste to energy plant and set the funding to 0, but this defeats my whole point. To me the sastifaction is to grow a city useing only what options exist, my gripe is "what options exist" I think more garbage options should exist because in the real world they do. I have no problem with having Garbage dumps, but does any real city ever just wait 100 years for them to decay? No, when a muncipality grows and finds new ways to despose of garbage they clean up, cover up or otherwise deal with their landfills. Here where I live the incenerator was built on-top of the old dump. I would pay for my incenerator to burn up my trash legally, and if I could afford it why not have it clean up my old garbage quicker also? This was my point on that. As for the volcano, there are cheats in the game. But God mode is not a cheat, it is a feature! It is known if you want to use volcanos to destroy, wheather this is a mean God or good God to destroy otherwise costly buildings you can. If you as the owner of the game and want to cheat, or want to play God, again a FEATURE! how does this hurt Maxis? So if you are going to allow cheats and God like features, allow them to work! That a trash dump is an exception, even to the point of what I consider being a bug (hanging in mid air, rather than being destroyed) to me is silly.

I for one hate the whole dump site situation. I am forced by economics to employ dumps (which I find real world and acceptable) but my options for the future are exactly two. 1. Cheat 2. Wait an unreasonable amount of time for them to decay. I am of the mindset, real world options should apply in the removial process also and real world is based on economics. Fine I say nail me good with the cost if I am willing to pay, but give me an option. Such as: 1. EPA clean-up; extreamly costly option to have EPA come and remove, detoxify trash or Toxic waste dump pollution. 2. Convert to Golf course; cover my dump with something useful. 3. Allow my incenerator to despose of my dump at a nominal fee per ton, up to the normal limits of my incenerator thus as quickly as I can afford to as long as my incenerator is not at capicity handleing my city''s trash. I say give me choices. Related to this; had a volcano erupt under my dump, when it was done the dump was hanging off my volcano in mid-air. I know; I know this is technically cheating but get real, when a volocano will not destroy trash something is wrong! Game designers, really now, is it that important to you we cannot remove dumps you make them impervious to volcano''s and able to float in mid air?
