Greetings all! I have been familiar with Simtropolis and SimCity 4 alike for a while. After using the modifications that others have presented, I have now developed an interest in fabricating my own designs. Given my particular interest in railroads, I would like to modify the trains that are included as player vehicles - namely the diesel locomotives used for freight and passenger trains - to make a more accurate representation of real trains. Given my unfamiliarity with the actual internal workings within SimCity, what utilities and tools will I need to have in order to be successful at my task? What tutorials will give me a better idea of how to create quality modifications?
