  1. I read this thread to try and find a solution to my issue but couldn't find anything. My problem is this: when I open up the SC4 Launcher, it takes a really long time for the menu to actually appear. At first I thought it was just failing to open, but checking on the Task Manager it shows that the process is running. It seems like the dialog for it only appears after I've started SC4 normally. Then it shows up, and I have to close the SC4 instance I have running to use the Launcher properly. Everything works fine once I get it to open, but it's a frustrating process. Any insights on this? Windows 7, Steam installation, it's installed in my \common\simcity 4 deluxe\ folder.

    Just downloaded this and I'm having the same issue as other people. This is my first downloaded map, so I might be doing something wrong, but I'm hoping somebody somewhere can provide a solution to this. I'd really like to build this map up.
