Its seems to me more people like it than dislike it. I, myself, hate FB games in General, but this one is actually quite fun. Yeah not getting any "diamonds" past level 10 and having to get "friends" to help you with only one request per day kinda stinks, But overall I like it. It is still a beta also, dont forget that. message me if you want a neighbor.

I have made an all blue (RGB=0,0,255) config.bmp for my city and it is still making its own config.bmp for it. I dont want any small cities, should I be IN the folder of the map I am trying to create? Is there something that I am doing wrong (btw win 7 64bit) everything else seems fine

There are some strange bars in the largest cities only in my regional view. I have reentered the cities several times each but these bars are still there. I havent changed the hardware, the only thing that is different is that I am using Vista. Can anyone tell me, other than reloading XP, how to fix this? Thanks

1680x1050 is this too large? if it is I can lower the resolution

I am haveing the hardest time in the world to find the tress that go with this pack. I seem to keep finding dead ended stuff or been move to another pack with no way of knowing which one. Can someone help? I apologize, the part about Canada was a an attempt to make a joke without any sleep... I should have denoted that fact. again I apologize it was taken as literal. the rest of the statement involve the "third world war" was my attempt at accuracy, or as much accuracy as you can have considering history is subjective. Again I apologize and I accept any comments telling me how stupid I was or how stupid the joke was. After all, it is to be expected.

AS a history major I was taught to look at history as a view into the future. While many historians subscribe to the thought "forget the past, condemn the future" many will say that history doesn't repeat itself...exactly. A "WW3" will happen (if it hasn't already considering some historians consider the "Cold War" the third world war) but it wont be view as it until reviewed from the future. The reason for this is like WW1 or "great war", which wasn't obvious that the world would get involved into Europe's mess. WW2 was obvious by comparison considering the build up of armies and tensions all over the world. Now people might say it is obvious now but, looking at the "Cold War" it is obvious that is was capable by the same definitions and yet it is still debated that it was a "Third World War". These events have the same likelihood to be region wars as they have to be world wars. Identifying whether or not it is a World War to come or is... well that is a matter of opinion isn't it? As for Canada to become apart of the US... isn't already? its just an independent autonomous region or "state". take a look at several countries throughout the world and you will see the same thing it just with Canada its not as obvious. It has happened several times now...and I have finally been able to reproduce it to when it happens. This "crash-to-desktop" only happens when I am "drawing" a long stretch of road, street, etc to a detriminate point on the map. (it is as if all the "acres" of road have a limit as to how many you can have) I have reinstalled my game (finaaly found Rush Hour disk), I have reformated my hard drive. Run all the tests to kingdom come. AMD 64x2 4200, DFI lanparty UI SLI 939, 2gig CAS2 dual-channel RAM, WD 250GB SATA2 16mb cache hard disk, single PNY Nvidia 7900gs 256mb video card, LG lightscribe 18x SATA DVD-RAM drive. yep that is exactly what I did. I save the city and moved it to different folder then obliterated it and then Eroded the whole thing 4 times. It seems to work. Thanks for your help

It gets worse LOL I found out what the problem is but its a crap shoot. Look at the pic included. there are red zones on the overlay, the overlay is a bulldozer. Those red squares only appear on cliff sections but they, when built on, cause my system to dump to desktop. but unfortunatly I cant find all of them and they are all over the place now... as if the city is corupted.

agreed. But remember one thing. Islam by its nature was an "adaptive" religon. it "originally" did not Destroy other faiths (judism, christianity, Hindi) it mostly went after each other shi'ia and sunni. but the Crusades made Islam the "overriding" faith. that was it! I dezoned the area, Nothing. I bulldozed the area, Nothing, I planted Trees (Earthday somewhere), nothing. then I built the road... tile by tile... LOL It went all the way. Musta been a plot that had not got erased when I destroyed the previous city. Thanks!

*quietly clears voice* For one thing, Hamas is supported by not only Syria and Iran.. but also by a large portion of the Palestinian population. All you hear about is how Suicide attacks on Isrealis or a War with the same and how they torture, decapitate and violate every single human right and decency. There is another side. the hospitals they have funded and built, the schools (not all of them are training centers), whole neighborhoods have been built by Hamas and yes the countries supporting them. There is a civil war in Palestien and neither side is gonna pay attention to Isreal till the other is dead. Hamas and Fatah are bitter enemies. Fatah believes it has the right to rule over Palastien cause it was the one negostating with Isreal and America, it established a peace process... But those in Fatah are very rich and backed by those governments. But Hamas is a "peoples" group, one that the people believe represent them. This is the way the world has worked for thousands of years... if we "westernized" civilizations believe we can just knock over and ant hill and not cause problem we are saddly mistaken. I dont have any personnal feelings on this matter but what I type is what I have learned in History. Remember this... Name one "western" country on this planet that has not had some type of civil war of civil unrest. We had to "grow up", now let them.

Well I tried smaller segments but it ends up with the same results. When I get to that general area it crashes. I tried to get tehre from another side, and it does the same thing. DO i Have to destory the city?

LOL I have been reading these forums all day and by doing so I figured out why I havent been accepted into their Forums yet. Seeing how I couldnt get on their forums at the moment (I am still waiting for an email) I figured I should post here. I have literally crawled all through their LEX, trying to find those dependancies. LOL
