I've been playing SC4 since the days of Toroca and Lakybof and this one has me stumped. I play SC4 RH on my HP pavillion m7750n (w/ Vista 32 bit home premium) and have had absolutely no game play issues. I recently had to re-download just about every BAT and mod I ever had and now none of my fire stations, regardless of whose version I install, has any fire protection radius to to speak of. I've tried removing my entire mods file and re-downloading the BATs but the problem persists. Police, school and medical lots have normal coverage. Any ideas?

First, thanks for the mouse tips. Tried 'em. Still blinking. I downloaded the modding tools (ILIVE, Data Gen, the SC4BATInstaller.exe(w/ update) and the SC4 Lot Editor so I could find one I liked. (or more accurately, one I could understand) They all installed fine untill I got to the SC4 stuff. When I tried to download GMAX, I got this: Zip damaged: file C:\DOCME~1Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WZS367.tmp\gmaxsetup1.cab:Bad CRC776a73f (should be 88866ddb). Possible cause: file transfer error. Then I tried the Lot Editor and saw:. Debug Error! Program: ...dding Equipment\SC4s Modding Equipment\ LoteditorInstaller.exe DAMAGE: after Normal block (#763) at 0x00C30040. Later when the malfunction became evedent, I deleted everything includung SC4 itself and ran three anti-virus/anti-spy checks. Nothing found. Screen still blinks. (sighs) I'm gonna have to reformat the drive aren't I? Thanks again all. P.S. Is the NAM supposed to show up in my computers list of programs

sAbout three days ago, after downloading a number of files, my screen began to, well, blink or huccup every 30 seconds or so. Causing, for instance the cursor to costantly jump back to the begining of this message box while I'm typing. (if I hadn't "cut and pasted this message back together before sending it out to you guys you would have thought it was a puzzel) or when I'm playing a video game it keeps jumping back to the desktop. Iv'e tried deleteing all the new programs and resetting to an earlier setting. But like real hiccups the problem persits. HELLP!!!
