  1. Smallest visible details?

Hello all! I'm just getting started with making my own building models in GMAX, and I'm wondering if anyone has a good rule of thumb for the smallest size of details they model. I've got a building with some thin window frames and other small decorations on the front, and they don't seem to be showing up when I render the model. Some of these objects are only 1/10 of a small block in GMAX - how big should it be so that it's visible?
  2. Crazy commute graph

I have a strange issue where my commute time graph just doesn't make any sense. While growing my mainly residential/commercial city of over half a million, commute time went between 0.5 and 1.5, which seemed like a reasonable number of hours. At some point, I installed the NAM, which improved things a bit. Next, I made a neighbor city with a few ten thousand industrial jobs to support my main city, and then went back to the main city. Here's where things got weird. Commute time started to increase as people got jobs in the neighboring town, but commute time went from around 1 all the way up to about 30. It's almost as if the scale on the graph has changed completely (from hours to minutes). The graph just looks really weird since I have this huge spike after I built that neighbor city. The main city is still running as normal, with no major abandonment issues, and has continued to grow to 800k people. Any one else run into something like this?
