Entry 1: Birth of a City
Welcome to the city town village empty space of Don Bay. A prime piece of real estate nestled between 2 of the country's main highways, and creatively named after the Bay it occupies. And they put me in charge! Lets take a look at the inevitable disaster prosperous new community that is Don Bay.
Here we see the humble interchange that will connect Don Bay to the rest of the world.
The whole 'virtually untouched beautiful vista' thing seems to have attracted a bunch of hippies, so we were forced to go for a wind turbine for the towns main power source.
The water tower that is currently supplying the village's water, next to a few of the first businesses. The homes of Don Bay's first citizens can be seen in the background.
Luckily the hippies need jobs, so a small industrial development was approved, and the first factories have already moved in.
Word is beginning to spread about Don Bay, and another street of houses have sprung up. Some new businesses have also moved in along main street, and Myrtle Industrial Park (as it is now called, some sponsorship deal) has grown. All of this has put a strain on the local services, so another wind turbine:
And a landfill:
Are both constructed. With plentiful electricity and somewhere for the rubbish to go, Don Bay grows quickly:
Main Street has been freshly paved, and some new (much cheaper housing) has sprung up next to the industrial park.
