  1. I hope the game looks like in the announce trailer.
  2. I hate going this route but I can't help it. People here are judging a game by graphics, that is which is not final. We haven't seen any gameplay videos or how the game works, if you can judge the game then I might agree with you. SimCity games were never ground breaking in the graphics department, yet people love them and have a long legacy. You know why? Great fun gameplay. That is what a makes a game, great gameplay. Have some patience, game is almost a year away from being released, see what you like, see what you don't like then make your judgement. No one is putting a gun on your head and forcing you on buying the game, its your descion and you are free to do whatever you want.
  3. SimCity: Gameplay

That just might be possible that they could announce both SimCity games at GDC. And we know that GlassBox engine will be announced at GDC as it is in their schedule and I am 90% sure it is for the PC as confirmed by the magazine article. I have a question. Does the name 'GlassBox' engine actually mean something or is it just codename for now?
  4. SimCity: Gameplay

So what they are saying is that buildings and other stuff from SimCity 4 cannot be imported to SimCity 5, right? Sort like the same thing from SC3000 to SC4. So meaning if we would want to build stuff in SC5, we have to start from scratch?
  5. Looks like SimCity 5 using GlassBox engine is true. I just saw on the schedule of GDC 2012, three people who work with EA are going to talk about the Glassbox engine. They are Ocean Quigley, Andrew Willmott and Dan Moskowitz. It says: 'Join EA and one of their world class development studios as they give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the GlassBox Simulation Engine, the next-generation technology that is built from the ground up to power the next entry in one of their most beloved franchises.'.
