I have only had this problem since upgrading to the 970. Before, I had the 750 without issue. Also, I think the resolution I am using in SC4 is the max resolution in game; 1600x900. My monitor has a native resolution of 1920x1080. It may not be the card itself, but maybe the driver. I'll try an older version tomorrow.

Amount of RAM - 8 Gigabytes DDR3 1600 Graphic Card - nVidia GeForce GTX 970 Operating System - Windows 7 64-Bit Version of Game - Retail? Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition Any command line switches you are using - None Also, I am using DirectX 11.1, and only experienced this problem recently; I have no problem with the game windowed at a lower resolution (eg: 1024x768)

No download link! This would be great, but, alas, we'll might never see it again...

I didn't download the rouge of Security Essentials. I downloaded the 64 bit version for my Windows 7. I think it might be like Norton; my uncle's computer died because Norton takes so many resources. I think that might be why. Actually, the rouge clone of Spybot Search & Destroy is SpywareBot/Spywarestop.

The only thing I don't like about Kaspersky, is the you have to uninstall Spybot Search& Destroy, which is something I always used. By the way, DON'T USE SECURITY ESSENTIALS! It almost destroyed my computer! And, thanks to all the feedback!

I use Malwarebyet's a lot. I don't like AVG because it isn't compatible with Avast, which I have used forever. When I Scanned the uninstallation thing with Malwarebyte's, it did not show up as a virus. Same thing to with Spybot Search&Destroy, and Avast. But, I downloaded SC4Mapper from BSC Lex/Sc4devotion

Hate. Days in the summer where it gets to 110+ degrees (I live in Arizona by the way).

SUPERAntiSpyware is an anti-virus program if you didn't know. I was concerned to about it being a false detection. I heard PC Magazine didn't like SUPERAntiSpyware. I am probably going to try to switch to Malwarebytes. If you know what might of caused the detection, please tell me. Thanks!

When I scanned the SC4Mapper uninstallation wizard with SUPERAntiSpyware, it showed up as a Trojen Horse, does anybody know why?
