I was checking out some cities at simcitycentral.net and some of those guys have built cities with like 22 million people. What do you guys think of cities like that? do you prefer cities that look good, and have been meticulously created, or do you prefer the cities that have been built solely for the purpose of insane populations? I have been experimenting with how to get my populations to grow as fast as possible, and have gotten it down to the point where I can get about 60,000 people in my city by the 10 year mark every time. I know that alot of the people who write CJ's focus on letting the city grow out of a tiny little rural town. I know that getting a city to have over a million people is a major step. So, what do you guys think of this region here: http://www.simcitycentral.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9837 At first, I was like whoa, holy crap. but then I was like, man, that's kind of ugly. nothing really unique about it. Nothing but sky scrapers chuck

It would be totally awesome if you made a mosaic that went wide, not just vertically. I would love to see both sides of the river. Who cares if it makes the browser window all insanely wide or whatever. chuck

Jeronij. re: pic 80.08. Is that rail turning into elevated rail before the bridge? chuck

I wasn't able to find the TunnelSlopeMod Jeronij was talking about on the STEX, so I had to search the forums, and came across this. I wonder why this isn't posted on the STEX or Modd section. http://www.repossessioncentral.com/_0Arepos/BRF_TunnelSlopeMod-b.zip chuck

Well, I did it. I spent most of today, and most of yesterday reading the WHOLE CJ. all 80 pages. and it is insane. Absolutely ridiculous. I am wondering if Jeronij could either create a Table of Contents to those tutorials that appear occasionally, or just post a link to all of them. I am particularly interested in learning how he handles smooth sloping, and the process of detailing his harbors. Particularly how he creates picture 5.1. picture 68.02 and picture 64.09 I don't know about you guys, but I think that some tutorials should be created that show how to use Marrast's walls as effectively as Jeronij uses them, and also how to terraform like him. Talk about mastery of a tool. Perhaps Jeronij could create a post which shows exactly which mods he's using for this absolutely stunning CJ. chuck And, congrats, page 81, w00t w00t. I rebuilt my PC from a [p3 800mhz, 512mb Ram, Geforce2 GTS] into a [p4 3.0eGhz prescott, 2gb Ram, eVGA 256mb Geforce6800GT], so that I could rock this game at full speed, and build stuff like SCR.

I am wondering if anyone has attempted to model the Riverside Catherdral in NYC. It is right next door to where I live (122nd & Claremont) and know that it would make an awesome BAT. I found the Sleeping Beauty castle in the BAT, so someone out there must love gothic architecture. here are some pictures of it. Sorry they are so small. They are from the church's website, and some other places. The building is 17 or 18 stories tall.

hey, man. just checking out your Columbia river CJ. I am wondering how you got your trees to be so dense in the residential neighborhoods. I have never been able to put together anything like that in the cities that I have been building. thanks for the great CJ, by the way
