  3. Hello, I'mbuilding a port within my simcity. So i wanted to use Somy Industrial port plugins. I already had Somy Prop Packs (1 to 7) and Somy Industry 01(part 1 and 2) installed, the point is when i want to add Somy Industrial ports (set 01 to 05) then it generates a lot of overrides (using Sc4 DataNode). Game is running, but a little slower than usual and the same plugs may appear several times in the game menus, once in port, once in monuments and even once in rewards. I didn't find a recent cleanitol file that can help. Also some plugs are "open" and others "dummy". Do some one can explain how to correctly install those plugs. Thank u for your patience Joe Letaxi

    Hello, I thought that my cities were all prop poxed, then i found "wouanagaine save game", and it simply showed me that they were not. I started a topic about that 3 days ago, it s got 0 view, because it s been moved (where?) and almost why? JoeLetaxi

    Hello, Nonny Moose My comp is a dinosaur, it s a IntelPentium 4 proc 3,2 ghz, i doped the Ram up to 3Go (max supported by mother card). OS is Windows XP Pro, graphic card is a Nvidia 5700 on AGP port, 256Mo ram. I use this machine since 2004, i saved it s life many times ( i lost all my hairs!), an old companion as u can see. It's clear that next PC i ll get ( when money be back, actually i can't "cough" 400 euro !) will use SSD, with less mechanical loss of time. To clean the disk i use command line chkdsk, with or not options. For defrag i use Perfect Disk, little better than the window's one. As protection i use MalwareBytes, CCleaner,no other antivirus, i avoid dangerous sites. Except this ultra addictive game named SimCity, PC and me are safe at that point.     Hello everybody, Like most of player i'm still looking after THE OPTIMAL loading order. i red many forums, many tutorials but it s always a good thing to receive experiences of other ppl. Loading order doesn't follow alphabetical order, or not a classical onel. Anyway my doc plugins folder is organized like this: a CAM b Megaprops ( all megaprops files, most of dependencies, this simple file is 1,2Go) datPacked b1 Props ( all props) size 0,8Go datPacked b2 Textures datPacked Commercial datPacked Industrial datpacked NAM (not datpacked) PegProd (not datPacked, i still have some plugs to install Residential datPacked Trains (not datpacked, i like to change them regularly Utilities ( water, garbage, energy, health, schools, police, firemen, army...... datpacked.) z DAM not datpacked zz Mods not datpacked zzz Peg (not dat packed z_____NAM ( obviously not datpacked) It's working quite good, game takes about 4mns to load, not so much ctd's except when i make mistake with puzzle elements, no shadows but i m sure it s )possible to improve gaming. Joe Letaxi ( i saw a plugin "Total recall" that gives Elevated Taxis, i won't ever use it).
  8. CLEANITOL FOR ALL

    Hello, Shall we see one day an updated cleanitol tool, that could fix everything, is it an old dream. I ask again what can i do with 0ko files such as 'money transfer file.dat', BSC Fields.dat......, did any player encountered such files and how did u manage with? Nonny Moose, i finally dropped all plugs in Doc:\Plugins. Only sky png's remains in Maxis plugins folder and its ok. NAM is not datpacked. Dalton City has now 1 020 000 residents and continue to grow. I will never "cough any euro" for SC 2013. I like the expression "cough" associated to money, in french we say "cracher" (in english: to spit) And after a closer investigation it s possible that i may not be infected by prop pox, probably just overriding (den) files.     Hello, First of all i thank Nonny Moose for his always pertinent advices. (all plugins, except sky png's and NAM, are located in doc Plugins) So, after taking a close look to my city, which is still growing with 1 000 000 people living there, i m now sure it s affected by the prop pox. I started a cure, by updating BSC MegaProps Misc 02, and deleting all files of its remove list. Now i ll continue with some Peg Files. The question is: if i can delete or update all files causing prop pox, will my city be cured ? A little fun now, when i first saw the expression "prop pox", i thought that it aimed the player itself! Because, at this time, i was spending more time to download, install, test, than to build or to make grow a city in real game. Perhaps many players got this behaviour during their gaming period.   10. Hello everybody, 1: Did some one encountered problems with: MoneyTransferFile.dat; BSC Fields.dat. Those files are present in:C:\Program Files\Maxis\Simcity4\Apps and C:\Program Files\Maxis\Simcity4\Plugins. They appear to be 0 ko files. When i delete them, they come back at next starting. Datanode marks "NONE" on their lines, in the checking results. 2: Take a look at my Air Force Base and help me to fix this texture default.
  11. Hello, I quietly play SC4 with XP, with an old but still good NVidia graphic card, my Ram is boosted up to 3,5 Go. (rebel to new OS), Plugins files (maxisplugins and docplugins) are 3,5Go. My game is fluid, with reasonable loading time at start. I use datanode for keeping a clean and playable installation. Datanode always write "NONE" in front of some files: Money Transfer Files.dat; BSC Fields.dat and Network Addon Mod\Tools\O.SC4. I can deal with overrides or overriden files or missing dep, but how to deal with NONE. Some clue, Money Transfer File and Bsc Fields are 0 ko sized, and they appear to be in: C:\Program Files\Maxis\Simcity\Apps AND in C:\Program Files\Maxis\Simcity\Plugins If i delete them, in both places, they re-appear at restarting. Do i continue to search an issue to the problem or do i leave it like this, because after all game is working. TY for answers, any advice with datanode will be welcome. JoeLeTaxi

  13. Hello, I recently made some important changes in both files (Maxis Plugins and Doc Plugins). Some clean (datanode, and cleanitol), some adds like many Pegprod productions, and some DatPacking. Now the ground of Air Force Base is filled by one of the basics "background.png", means blue squares.I wanted to replop it, so I bulldozed the AFB, and it now even didn't appear in rewards menu. I checked the presence of "plugin 007" in MaxisPlugins, and it's present. Can u help me to recover AFB in the menu and most of it with the correct texture. Thank u, Joe

    Hello, special hello to "A Nonny Mouse", Recently i plopped the SW77 Train Generator right beside GLR and suddenly i had freight trains running all over my city, on glr tracks. lol. Not a bug, just a funny thing.
