Notice in the description, there is an "important note"... it says you need to download a plugin first. :) And thanks for all the comments!
  2. Official Mapping Community Requests

Date: 4/17/2005 1:38:59 PM Author: RadioheadFan Mallow, some other dude did Phnom Penh, I took it off my list, so you don't have to have it on yours. RHFquote> Yeah, I know, but it was the person who requested it, and I don't know if they like the quality of their map or not. So, I sent them a pm, and am waiting for a response. EDIT: They like their version... and I must admit they did a wonderful job. So, I'm editing that one off the list.

Date: 4/17/2005 12:31:28 AM Author: comdude21 The new maps look great. BTW, you don't have to post both of the requested maps on Saturday anymore. You can post them whenever you want, as long as you upload no more than four maps per week. Just checking that you're aware of this, because it would work better to release them on different days probably. Again, great job on the new maps. I look forward to more. comdudequote> Yep, I knew I didn't have to release them, but I had said previously that I'd release them today... so I did. This will, of course, not happen in the future. Thanks for the comments!

ftp://e0mss21u.ecs.nasa.gov/srtm/ Unfortunately, they're .hgt files (related to, but not DEMS). I don't know if MicroDEM can load .hgt files.

  18. Nehalem

I too would like pines most in that area. Actually, I'd like redwoods/firs most for that area... but there's no God-Mode redwood/fir tool. However, I'm thinking about using PEGS pine forest lots for this occasion... thanks for all your comments and suggestions!
  19. Nehalem

Hi all! Thanks for your patience. I'm ready to update Nehalem. Though it's a small update, rest assured that much time was spent on the region. Anyway, on to the update: Let's start with a view of the overstuffed highway between Moro and Nehalem. Next, let's have a look at the evolution of Jeroni Park. Alright, these next pictures are of the new mountain village of Damascus. The first is the road up to it. Then, you can see the downtown--a small section of commerce along the highway. Finally, we have the high school, and a couple homes. And of course, the region views: And as always, any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

Date: 4/14/2005 6:00:28 PM Author: N_O_Body @MallowTheCloud: Hey, if you like Brahms, how do you feel about Beethoven? I am sure you must like Brahms first symphony, which Ii have often heard referenced as Beethoven's tenth (and not just in 'Bells Are Ringing', either). quote> Beethovens great too, and I've never heard Brahms' first referenced as Beethoven's 10th... that's pretty funny, actually! Anywho, regarding Brahms... I like him mostly because his Hungarian Dances (I love them) somewhat inspired Dvorak's Slavonic Dances (which I also love)... Ok, that's enough rambling for today. Hmm, Brimstone, eh? Are we near Yellowstone?

I am attaching a different version of New York City. Some people requested that Manhattan Island be aligned north-south rather than diagonally to amke it easier to build cities on in SC4. So, here it is, attached to this post.
  23. Tijn21

Welcome! I can't wait to see some new maps from you!!!
  24. Mapp Squad New York City

  25. Sculpting Columbia River

Jeroni!!! Just so you know, I have been reading SCR. I just can never think of any words to describe it! It's always so beautiful, and just when I think it can't get any better, it does. I love Port de Soller, I love Son Moix, I love Sa Pusa, I love Ets Amunts, and I love Costa Tramuntana. I hope I didn't forget anything... Anyway, I also remember you saying you were having a hard time because you have so many plugins that it takes you a long time to scroll down to certain parks, etc. Well, I was looking on the STEX, and saw an organizer for all your in-game menus there. I hope it is useful to you! Great job, and as always, keep up the great work, Jeroni!!!
