I grew up obsessed with architecture and city planning. I went to college to become an architect, however decided I didn't want my hobby and passion to become a "chore." Thus, I ended up graduating school last year with a chemistry degree - which allows me to play with chemicals and explode things in the lab! Cool stuff! With that said, my obsession with buildings led me to play the original Sim City Classic, and pretty much every derivation of the game since. I quit playing the games when I left for school. But, now that I have graduated I have a hunger to play the game again. I am enthralled by the sophistication of the Simtropolis community. I never knew there were so many other people so invested in the gameplay of sim city but who were also frustrated with the blandness and lack of depth it provided.
