Hi there! I'm using your SAQ lot in my CJ, it's to represent a Quebec region. Would you know of any building made of a Desjardins branch, or a Banque Nationale lot, or perhaps a church, like the ones we have around here? You know the type ( ) Keep up the good work!

So, in making my very rural region, I've decided to get the STEX Collection CD/DVD. Good stuff in there, but I have a few questions: 1) I'm getting a certain number of brown boxes on my farms. I did get all the dependencie files from the STEX Collection 2 DVD, but apparently, it wasn't enough. One of them, for example, is a pack of 40 different farms, which has an impressive list of dependencies. When I click the links in the file, I get a dead link. Should I simply forget about that lot/lots, or are there ways to discover where the files are now? 2) I understand what a "grow" lot means, and what a "plop" lots means. But also, in the CD/DVD, there is a mention of "bat" lots. Are these lots just like a "grow" lot, or are there simply there as a reference for using the building architect (eg. they can't be used, as such, in the game in their current state). 3) I've found two lots, also, which seem to have no ground texture. One is a gas station, without any ground texture. It simply appears as blue. Does it mean I'm also missing a dependencie here? 4) Unrelated to all that, my game crashed on me. Many lots were growing at the same time, so perhaps that's why, but is there a guide, on these forums, to troubleshoot a crashing Simcity 4? Thanks!

History and Geography of the Anichigan Lowlands. Located in the St-Laurent valley, the Anichigan Lowlands is a rich area of agricultural lands. It is often referred to as Nouvelle-Champagne, as the first colonists to arrive during the 1650s were from the Champagne region. They were ceded lands along the St-Laurent river at first, and then following the mains rivers of the region, including the Kawapa River, the Anichigan River and the Raton River. The wood from the region was used to construct the first fleet of New-France, but the region's colonization never developed as strongly as it did near Montréal or Québec City. After the English conquest in 1759, the region remained mostly the same, with some villages to the east being colonized by English settlers. Benedict Arnold will walk through the region in 1775, failing to take Québec City or Montréal. The region will come close to war in 1839, when the state of Maine will declare war upon a boundary dispute. The Webster-Ashburton Treaty of 1842 between the State of Maine, the province of New-Brunswick and Quebec, will establish the current borders between the different entities before any blood will be shed on the battlefields. During the Irish crisis of 1847, the Marie-Reine Island was used to quarantine some Irish newcomers. The island remained active for a few years afterwards, up to the beginning of the 1900s. Since then, not much happened to the region. Small towns, such as Ste-Josee-de-la-Patience and Anichigan, have had ups-and-downs, but it is mostly a quiet place. In these days of eco-tourism, the region is visited on a regular basis by American and Canadians tourists for its particular charm and link to a more traditional way of life. The region is known for two internationally renowned cheese: Le Boulingrin and le Tome de Kawapa. The Town of Ste-Josee-de-la-Patience was also the birthplace of international author Jean Barry-Tremblay, who wrote the books "How to become rich" and "How to become rich II" and singer Paulette Duval, mostly known for her Jelly Bean jingles during the 1950s. In 1990, Parks Canada declared part of the region as a natural reserve. The area is known as "Réserve naturelle des Braves" in honor of the brave men and women who almost fought against the State of Maine. -

Welcome to my City Journal. This is my second attempt at a City Journal, my first one was made over 3 years ago, and received positive comments. A certain game then used all of my time ((**coughcough World of Warcraft coughcough**)) but now I'm back to making cities. This City Journal, or CitIES Journal, is based on a map made by digger313 called Philadelphia2. It came with the STEX CD, and I adapted it to create a region that might be close to what you'd see near the St-Laurent River in Quebec, my home province. Many mods are used, including the Industry 4X, NAM, Farming Jobs X5, Realistic Resident, Less Abandonment, and DataviewMod. I'm trying to get more realism in the game that way, but I know it`s very subjective. No money mods are used. I also used tons of BATs and Lots from the STEX CD and DVD. A special thank you to Cataclaw for provinding a SAQ lot As my native language is french, I hope you won't be bothered too much by my limited use of the english language. I have read many CJ, and hope this one will be as interesting to read for you, as it was for me to read yours. This City Journal represents a region that doesn't exist in real life, but that just might have. It's called Nouvelle-Champagne, and it would technically be located between Montréal and Québec City, in Québec, Canada, along the south shore of the Fleuve St-Laurent. For those aware of the geography of that region, let's say we wiped Sorel off the map, and made a different region there. -
