How he didn't die 30+ years ago surprises me... but all of those stunts took their toll for sure.

First off, a true sequel, aka SimCity 5, would've been in the top 2 for sure... second, it lost to a Sims stuff pack... third, I don't see any sales totals there so we don't know how many actually sold. One thing is for sure, EA is taking over gaming... for better or for worse.

He makes a mean ade... we'll miss him, but his drink will live on forever.

The game is so simple, even a caveman can do it... but please read the rules before you play along. Simply talk amongst yourselves, anything you want... the weather, sports, your personal life, whatever. The catch is you must use smileys in your post... one (and only one) more than the person above you. So the person below me should place two smileys in his or her post, then three, four, etc. Try to be creative with the smileys, particularly later on when the number of smileys gets large. Got it? Good. Start playing! Oh, one last thing. The 100th poster must not put a smiley in their post... basically reseting the smiley counter to 0. I don't want a wall of smileys if this game lasts beyond that.

Not a bad list... you're partial to the late 80s/early 90s cartoons. No list is complete without the Looney Tunes... timeless unlike most cartoons today or even back in my generation. Still, I liked TMNT, Inspector Gadget, He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats, Ren & Stimpy, and Captain N: The Game Master back in the day. Today, it's more Simpsons/Family Guy/Adult Swim type stuff... but I can't forget the classics.

If this game doesn't sell, expansions are unlikely. EA won't support a game that flops. The Sims sell millions every time so expansions are common... SCS is not The Sims.

I have a feeling this thread will head south and go negative fast... I'll start, I guess. They need to add a lot of stuff... I mean a LOT of stuff in order for me to buy SCS, but this game wasn't intended for me so life goes on.

Well it's out, and I haven't been able to put the game down all week... it's that awesome. It's probably the best console game I've played since Zelda: Ocarina of Time. If you've got a Wii, you're obligated to buy it and play it all the way through.

There could be a place on the web where the hardcore SC3K fans are lurking, playing, creating... but this isn't the place.
