  4. Advances in Military Technology

Lot's of consumer goods used to be military applications.
  5. What is music?

Melody is key, rhythm and beat are pretty important. If a sound has no discernible melody, it's not music. Poeme electronique is not music despite being part of music appreciation class.

PCs will still be around for a long time but PC dominance is slipping fast because dominance means they are sold the most. When more smartphones are sold than PC's, then the dominance has been lost, same goes with tablets. If both smartphones and tablets vastly outnumber PC's, then it is safe to say, the PC dominant era has ended. Laptops are already more common than tower/desktop designs. Tower/desktop models have more performance for their price and in some ways are easier to use so those won't go away altogether very quickly but will not be the primary device anymore in a short amount of time.
  7. There is a reason that time period was called the Animation Age Ghetto.

  9. Deadly Riots Rock London

    1. Stop fighting like little 12-year-olds. Neither of you make yourselves seem better by doing so. 2. It's impossible to make poor people rich by making rich people poor because there would not be enough wealth to redistribute. 3. It's possible to bring poor people out of poverty by redistributing an amount of wealth from the wealthy that is deemed acceptable by them. 4. If a government takes an unacceptably high amount of wealth from the wealthy (especially the self-made-men), then they will leave. Have any of you heard of "voting with your feet"?
  10. Action in the Business World

IBM no longer makes personal computers.
  11. 99 luftbalons by Nena. The English lyrics are toooooooo vague but the translation into English is sooooooooooooooo depressing. Some people release 99 helium balloons in Berlin, the Soviets send out fighter jets to take down the UFOs but this results in a 99 year nuclear war. At the end, the girl releases 1 red balloon in memory.
  12. Facebook to go Down

To me, "anonymous" is any group of anonymous cowards on the Internet that does not give out names or anything.
  13. Growing Gray

Well, the developed world has higher quality of life and life expectancy. Also, medical companies often publicly announce that they will increase costs of things in the USA in order to pay for giving away free medicine in the primitive areas.
  14. What Does Your Username/Avatar Mean?

I've used this username before but I thought this sheep with sunglasses was fun.
