Welcome to beautiful Rodina! In this region I use a couple of modds, mainly eyecandy stuff, god mode, and many custom lots. Some cities I play, others I just build (with endless money). I have no specific goals with this region..just play, build and have fun.. Hopefully you'll pardon me for not giving credits for each and every custom lot showing up in this CJ, since I seldom remember who made what.. But here's some for all you lot makers, BATters and modders out there who keep Sim City alive and kicking with your excellent creations.. And, finally, the map and stats above will be updated as the cities develop, so do check back here every now and again..

According to unconfirmed rumours this year's Labour Day celebrations in the Socialist State of Rodina has been interrupted, possibly by civil unrest.. Instead some footage from the good old days:

Ok, I thought you maybe suggested the screenshot itself was edited (which it is, but only for brightness etc). Of course the lots are edited (there are 9 edited lots in the picture), and it's very easy if you know your way around the LE. You can't edit shadows though, other than by raising/lowering props.

Socialist State of Rodina - Ilitj May 1st celebrations Socialist Youth Brigades of Rodina (sotsialistitjeskij brigadi molodozji rodiny) parading in front of the Museum of Socialist Heroes. The Central Committee of the Socialist State of Rodina Youth brigades in front of the Lazarskij Cathedral. On May 1st there are amusements, markets and concerts in the Revolution Park. It's a tradition to lay down red flowers at the feet of the Revolution monument, in remembrance of those who lost their lives defending the Revolution.

Ilitj - Staromesto Samok (Ilitj Castle) When the Kipchak khanate begun to disintegrate in the mid 14th century, the Rodinian population on the western side of river Ilja managed to gain independence by assassinating several high Kipchak officials and military leaders. Under king Urik (elected 1353) the Rodinians built a fortification and castle on top of the Gusjin rock. The castle was finished 1363. The oldest houses still standing in present-day Ilitj were built during this period. Ilitj castle and Starograd, the oldest part of Ilitj. Ilitj castle. Part museum, part residence of the head of state. The royal palace. Ilitj museum, royal museum and reception hall for state visits. Grigorii chapel Built 1379, the oldest orthodox church in Rodina. Ilitja-Gorska lavra. (Ilitj Monastery of the Rock) Built 1406. Old fortification wall and towers, path to the castle.
