I have only been seriously at Sim City 4 for 2 months and haven't downloaded 2 years worth of custom content. I am trying to improve my pictures my using new downloads such as NAM, NWM, and SPAM. Au revoir, et bonne journée.

Some more info (not official update)
Flyby :D posted a City Journal entry in the magnifiques country of Terrivere
Terrivere's main island was owned by France from 1814 to 1967, and the island which the city of Rio rests on was owned by Italy from 1810 to 1972. Both islands were owned by Spain before the two other countries conquered the island in the Early 1800s. In 1985, the islands (which were both republics) united into Terrivere. Terrivere is simply put, an enlarged Switzerland, it is very safe and has strict immigration rules. It also has multiple languages, and stays out of most worldwide arguments. The mayo (a Spanish currency used by both islands since the beginning of time) is the currency, and it is very stable. One mayo is around 4 USD. The country is still debating to join the EU, and violent rioters have protested changing their beloved mayo into euros. Called the Rio of the East, Rio is a popular beach destination, and enjoys the Mediteranean climate, and luxury resorts are all over the island. The island, under heavy Italian influence, is popular for Rio pizza. Both islands have high scientific influence. Commonly, Italians go to Rio for the holidays, and the number of human beings in Rio triples during the summer holidays. Cars drive on the left in Terrivere, but until 1996, Rio drove on the left but they united. Terrivere's relations with the US are choppy, and France and Italy are it's allies. The only war Terrivere got into was a small dispute in Iran, and only about 500 Terivian soldiers actually went. So, I hope this improved your knowledge about Terrivere. Au revoir! -

Here, this is the same CJ I posted along time ago... but I am actually paying attention to little details and everything. I present to you, the Tri-Region Area! Region 1 - Something like 250,000 people DowntownPar, a suburbLas Amarillo, a dirty, dirty, industrial town that is just plain bad.Crossville, a city on a cross of 2 rivers with a nuclear plant.Briarsville, a city that boomed at record speed at a tax drop, then stopped and slid down and has many abandoned building.Fairway, a suburb of Downtown.Farmapplia, a random farm village that is far East of Downtown.Bonne, a rich German suburb that boomed and hasn't stopped.-name-, a master planned industrial city with inter-city transport that is the reason for Bonne's booming.Region 2 (farm area), 30,000 people Arvada, a small city in the northwestern corner of Region 2.Columbine, a small city with the Region 2 airport in the southwestern corner.Derby, a booming capital city of Region 2 that is showing no signs of stopping, but is still kind of small. in Northeastern corner.-name-, a small city in the southeastern corner. Region 3 , 90,000 people Cityplace, a small city growing well.Parklin, a growing city with 87,000 people that just went KABOOM! and hasn't stopped at all. It has filled it's huge city tile.Bentley, a kind of secret town on a super-tall mountain. It has a population of around 700. It's kind of secretive. It has all the military stuff, the toxic waste dump, prison, Area 5.1, and the army base.Schneitlein, a kind of futuristic city of 2,300 that has a safe industrial district. It has a monorail that goes through the industrial area, and a long commuter rail line taking people home.So... 386,000 people. NICE. I am getting all my visual pictures nice and spicy with new plugins, including BSC, Victorian art, NWM, NAM, and beautiful flower garden thingy.... All of these "regions" are kind of like "metropolitan areas" because they are on the same region but are totally different areas. Region 2 and 1 are fully connected by the way of highway, Regions 3 and 1 are partially connected, because Bentley has a tiny street that goes into Region 1..... Region 3 and 2 are not connected at all, but can be reached via. Region 1. I have a fully prepared update, but I'm having a friend over so I can't post right now.

I'm bored already.... I need to start a totally different with more custom content..... The problem is, Archean, that when I don't find many things that strike me people go "OHH YOU JUST KILLED ME WITH THAT MAXIS" or "PICSPAMMING!" . It's really, really, hard to keep you guys the slightest bit entertained. I can't find any really nice houses. I want pretty, pretty houses but I can never find them. I think they got cleaned off ST itself. OTHER people always have pretty houses... never me...

I've decided to pause my update for maybe a week. Because of all the criticizement, I will be spending weeks getting nearly every thing on the web to make my viewers pleased.

Oh... your looking at outdated pics. Now, I can post real update. As, usual, I'm still working, but one part has lots of it (including NAM, and three other things). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh..... Lane Walker leaves her home in the Saidoshi district for a "little" drive around the city. She pulls off the highway at a construction site, where construction crews are working on converting a highway into..... oh yeah a RHW. She pulls into the Tenmado district, home of Tokyo tower. Many middle-class families live here with good education, water, and health. She pulls off a TLA-3 into an avenue in the Sentagaden district where she passes the Royale Hotel. She goes through a traffic circle next to the Royal Hotel, next to the Royal Gardens. The Victorian antique district, Sentagaden was built in 1867 when Par, a major Japanese-English colony grew as a suburb of the Center of Region 1. This aerial view was taken by a hangglider coming from Tokyo Tower. To be continued when the computer goes faster--

If you were to take your picture, and wrap it around a container that perfectly fits it, and fill the container with water, that's more then the amount of water that has fell on my city in 3 months.

Don't want to predict too early but this sounds very much like Schulmaia's beginning.
-
Would you just- WELL, sometimes when I hover over .zip files it doesn't show the Extract thing. Same thing with other people. So.... I got 7Zip and everything's fine. WinRAR I think is worse.
-
I don't know why, but sometimes my computer doesn't show the Windows-default extracter. I use 7Zip, just right click does whatever you want. Perfect program.

Awesome! Looks very good!

Many years ago, a few settlers discovered a wonderful place all to themselves. Together, the 10 families built and worked hard to do their best and founded the village of Monocia (mon-okee-uh, not mon-osha). The small farming village slowly grew over the years. Every year, the strongest family took the goods produced on their wonderful farms, and sailed over rough seas to the harsh kingdoms where they were born to sell their goods. People of the kingdom loved the delicious food of the land called Monoca, and in their own ship, the two sailing ships sailed gracefully to Monoca, where more families joined them in their agricultural buisness. The lovely little village grew and grew, and had 600 people in it picking food, talking and enjoying themselves. Homes were always being built, and wonderful shops opened along Main Street for those who wanted more then just food. Schools were opened for children, and this advancing community continued to grow, and soon was a city of 10,000. The city had everything someone could possibly want, wells on every street for water, schools in every neighbourhood, and wonderful stores to get food at. In the kingdoms, most food was imported from Monocia, and served to the King and his royal citizens. Monocia remained it's own country though. The city grew, and aged, and new generations were born, and the city grew and grew up to 50,000 people. The King of Monocia was loved by his happy country, always ready to help out. What a wonderful city, the city truly was. The city adopted an official currency, the kropeal (1KD = 0.54293 USD). We musn't get stuck here in old times, we must continue, while sadly leaving old culture, beginning new trips and things to explore. Now, we welcome you to... New, modern updates coming possibly every 2-3 days. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You will likely be disappointed by your first viewing of Monocia. I do not have ANY addons or buildings from the STEX, not even NAM. (i tried downloading NAM but it was too confusing and I like what I have already). I did try to download a pretty housing set called Bournemouth Housing Set or something but it never showed up in game. Even in the right folder. Not unzipped though, hope that's not the problem. Once I gain a little more experience you will like this more and more, I promise. I get tired of the same buildings over and over too. I just wish I could get plugins to work... I'm just trying my best.

Welcome to Villagio, a planned community of 20,000. A few updates. I AM NOW ADDICTED TO ADDONS!! I have downloaded the Extra Cheats DLL, and I do use Moolah but not extremely. I still make sure my city is profitable, rather then just use Moolah to give it money.I have also downloaded the Brennt Rail Set Moor Valley Station addon which I use for all my stations in the game. I have decided that I am not going to use NAM because it's installation is a pain. So, instead of light rail, I am using commuter rail but to make it look like light rail, I use that addon.I am using these trains to make it look more like light rail, and it's just a cool addon. So, for this update I decided to show off a bit of Villagio and it's light rail in a little ad, like one of those you would see on a website. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Start off your journey with DART on the Victory Station (orange and red lines). Or maybe Moscheks (red line). Possibly Northfork (green line). Maybe Terry, maybe Mills (both purple line).... I'd love to go to Centrallía Station.... Over 15 new light rail stations in the new rapid transit network serving Villagio, VART.* *Old Villagio monorail services operated in cooperation with Monoco Area Rapid Transit. Notice, the Northeastern Monorail has been shutdown in order for room for the blue and purple light rail lines to use. (I hoped you like it. There are many more stations. I hoped you like what you saw. I am getting more addons and it should be way better soon. I am gonna redo a neighborhood soon).

What do you want to do next? Ride from Palvile ( a farm town of eh... 214) through Suburban Monoco, into Lovellton, down into Pequeña Ciudad and the rapid transit system, into Villagio. Explore Villagio only (new suburb that's very planned) Region pictures and more tours of Pequeña Ciudad and maybe Lovellton.

Here is my 3rd update, and it has no pictures, but it's a map of the rapid transit system. In the last post, Mark left Parquevo Subway Station and went to Airport Elevated Rail system. The elevated rail is blue, and the subway is green. The transition is red. Seems nobody likes this... :(

Nathanthemayor - Thanks! I hope you like them! Schulmanator - Thanks alot! I'm looking forward to posting more. Kakado_To_Save - Thanks! I'll post some more in the afternoon or tomorrow.

Today we will visit Mark Evans' work commute. Mark leaves his two story house for work at the airport. After an extremely short drive, he has already got to the subway station. (creative idea, subways under normal resedential areas) On the subway goes, buzzing under beautiful areas. He's already made it to the commercial district! Wow, these subways are so efficient. Past the park... If he was above ground, he would already see the Elevated Rail Network! Through the transition.... And he's made it! Now he just walks into the airport! If he would have drived the whole way, it would have taken 3x longer! Ride the Monocia Rapid Transit Rail system today! *You may notice that the pictures say Pequeña Ciudad, because it's the biggest and most modern suburb, I chose to use it.
