Happytown

I, like many other relatively new SC4 players, fall victim to mass transit and road networks issues. I get too much congestion after a while and when I try to fix it, I fall short. I have seen it explained on here, such as how to avoid the "grid" layout, which I find myself constantly using, but I still cannot grasp the concept. Another issue I have is how to layout a subway system correctly and to make the most of it. I have gotten over having to destroy buildings (they always build back up, anyway!) but I never know where to put the stations and how many connections to make. Please keep in mind that I am not modded what-so-ever, so I don't have NAM or RTMT or anything of the sort. Although, if anyone could point me in the right direction to those things, I may consider them. Mostly, I just need some visual aid, here. Can anyone provide pictures of a good and sufficient transit system and road network?

These add-ons look interesting. Where can I get them? I like the RTMT idea. I was looking to install it, but I can't seem to find it.

Ohh this is fun for my first post! Alright, I agree with the game crashing all the time. I have a fast computer but it crashes so much that I have to save it every few minutes to make sure! I Other things that I hate are that you can't have a bridge connecting to a neighboring city. I found out about that a little too late. I had build a huge highway and I was going to bridge it over to the next city, but it wouldn't. So now I have a highway just...ending at the water line. Another thing I hate? There is no undo or move! I couldn't tell you how many times I was placing something (usually expensive of course) and I click-to-place prematurely and I can't just move it to where I meant to put it.
