I love rivalries between cities. And dude, you also might want to compare that rivalry with that of Toronto (English Canadian city) and Montreal (French Canadian city). Other than the rivalry, you're doing a great job with Edmonton, with the realism and all that. Keep it up.

I know this is kind of like a random city but i would have to say Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and here are the rasons why: -It's population is pretty decent to fit in a city in SimCity (pop. 359, 183) -Besides the traveling in a train, plane or ship it's pretty much isolated. -It is a major Port City for Canada in the East Coast, providing it as an industrial center. -It has an attractive setting. -It has a historic role in the developement of Canada. -It has elements of Boston and San Fransisco. -It's buildings are modoern, preserved and historic (Boston Type). -It is fairly crowded and is not really stretching out. -It's population depends alot on railways for the economic growth. -Easier to create. *Never lived or been there, just think it qualifies for your needs.

I challenge everyone on the ST to make a more realistic version of their own city, then this one.quote> That would be a very very difficult challenge! JD has set a very high standard. Vancouver would be another, equally challenging city to do, I think.quote> Yeah Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal would be the most challenging because, they are large complex cities, they have a weird and complicated geography and plus the REALISM will take forever. If there is a challenge the city options should include these.

You're doing a really great job with the city, the grid and the realism. 2 questions though: 1. How do you plan on making the downtown or any other area looking like it is today, in the real world? 2. After you caught up with the real city what are you going to do next?
