but even if they are better, they still are locked into limited zoom levels, and rotation levels, besides what would we base our game off of, there is no base that would look decent.

you also realize that ottd has outdated graphics, so if we made a game the graphics would be bad, everyone here wants to make this awsome game that will kick eas butt but that isnt possible, it would be low sc2k like and possibly but not very likely sc3k like

well said about the fact why we cant make the game, except for the part of a dying breed, i dont think its a dying breed, its just ea is gay, and cause the sims MAKES MORE MoNEY they abandon simcity cause it doesnt make as much money, if its dying its dying because ea is screwing it up. this game will never happen, and if it does it will be like lincity or it will be low graphics, and low features.

you do understand that OTTD requires you to have ttd, because it uses ttd graphics, which btw are 13 years old. making simtrop 1000 would be alot harder of a job, it would be more like a sc2k or possibly an sc3k clone, since we cant make an sc4 clone at the time.
