F15Excaliber: this is not accurate scale. I like to play big maps, so this map is actually bigger than the 'original'. The proportions are the same tho, since i used the satellite photo. Feel free to sample it down.

This is an artificial island some kilometers off the shore of Dubai, Arabian Emirates. It has been designed as a R$$$ resort. Construction is almost finished by now and most of the villas and hotels sold. The trunk is 2km long and 450m across! They are already planning a second, bigger palm (Jebel Ali). These guys are crazy! See more on www.thepalm.ae On the left side you can see the satellite photo which I used to generate the terrain. PM me if you find an accurate plan of the second palm.

The World is a Disc! -------------------------------------- Large cities in the center, (shifted, 6 neighbours) small ones at the border. -------------------------------------- If you have the arctic plugin you can get a nice snowcap at the 'pole' -------------------------------------- NOTE: use Landscape Designer or any photo program (brightnes, contrast) to adjust sea level.
