  1. Wood County - Rebirth

I can't believe that I haven't checked in earlier Thatmonkeysim! This cj is outstanding! There's too much to sum up, but I especially like the transport-layouts and the photoshopping; I think I'll have to drop by more often..
  2. Lattica, Hemstead :: The River City

Great work on this cj! Have to keep this one in mind; especially the embankment of the river looks very good, with the terrace-like walls rising up above it, great job. I wondered about something though. You use the asphalt highway texture, and the interchanges have this asphalt texture too. When I use this texture, the interchanges appear in their original light-grey color; how come?
  3. The Brastoval Bay Area

I'm looking forward to how you will work out MasterPlanMans idea! (Got to keep it in mind myself as well)
  4. San Francisco - Bay Area by Mexicanboy13r

Nice little swamp you made there in Crissy Field, and that bicycle path looks very fine together with the custom PEG bridge. (it would even be more perfect if you could manage to drag the bicycle path over the bridge, but I don't know if that's possible in the Lot Editor) edit: excellent video btw, great promotional material... I'd really love to see San Fransisco in real life; it would be no surprise to you that, as a Dutchie, I was quite charmed and surprised by the fact that San Fransisco actually has a windmill...
  5. Sabastian Bay

Rewright: this is a breathtaking journal; it's shining with originality, the pics, the photoshopping, the development (downtown Halifax with the avenues and monorail: fantastic), the use of Jeroni's walls, and especially the newspaper style: you're doing a great, great job!
  6. :: dynasty :: A Shadow Assassin CJ

Wow, some nice updates again Shadow! I especially like Old Titticaca, as well as the winding railtracks. Also: you're the first to put Oppie's new canals into use (to my knowledge) It looks great ingame!
  7. The Average City in Dire Flats

The last pic looks promising! And.. I agree with all that's said above by Mentarman. Just take it easy; usually the nr of views is much higher than the actual nr of posts. Just keep in mind that there are a lot of people out there who DO follow your cj, without posting comments. If I could add some advice to this, I'd say: visit a lot of other cj's and post comments there if you like what you see. This will make more people aware that you are out there, and maybe they'll get curious about your own cj. Second, I'd advice you to make a nice signature with a link to your cj. Instructions on how to do this can be found on top of this forum (or on top of the Simcity forums thread, I'm not sure) Good luck!
  8. The Queen City

Cool! This is a nice opportunity to learn something about this city...you elready have some excellent BATs at your disposal; I'm curious how you'll work it out
  9. Midgard-The Growth of a Region

Nice start! The S Bahn looks lovely, as well as the whole region! I wish you luck on this one
  10. Some truly marvellous updates Leech10!! I almost can't believe what I'm seeing when I look at those landscapes.... almost losing myself in them; in two words: wonderful & original! I'm sorry a war broke out... but I guess somehow this could be expected...
  11. Belleville - Christmas at Macy's

Excellent update Simbourgeois, es muy bien!! (those were the only spanish words I know...) I'd like to buy some books on learning Spanish in that Belleville bookstore... I like that lady working there... Continue your work on this gem!!
  12. The Cabel Bay Republic

That beach is awesome! You just use Goldiva's mods in a slightly different way: a lot of small bushes, and few palms: the result is stunning, I'm gonna remember this for future terraforming... The first update is very good, I like the small downtown area, as well of the Laguna Convention Center (it's a very old BAT you rarely see in cj's any more.. Great work, keep it up!
  13. Amiela Bay - a Psyko CJ

Wow! This map is amazing!! You've made a great start in your first attempt to a cj Psyko! I'm sure many good things will come from it in the future!
  14. Welcome to Melanosia

Great start!! Very original, and pleasing! This is a journal I'll keep an eye on!!
  15. Thames: British style CJ

Date: 7/28/2005 8:50:34 PM Author: SkyTearer I apologise for this... but might you tell me the name of the mod you used for the terrain colour? Anyway, this is an amazing CJ! Really reminds me of the UK in so many ways. LIke the ferry terminals too, very nice custom touches. Cheers! quote> It's the Cycledog mod, a must have!! You can find it on the STEX. Search for Cycledog and you find tweo or three tree-control mods. They provide a link to a thread on Simtrop in which the mod is discussed. There you'll find a link to Cycledog's site. Here you can get all the stuff you want to have: Tree controllers, terraintextures, beach & rocktextures and a Columbia map. Sorry for not providing links, but I'm in a rush Frogface: You're still doing an amazing job with this cj! The recent updates were very exciting!! Keep it up!
  16. The Colonization of Hermoso

Wow, that airport rocks! Very realistic, and of course nice photoshopping! The previous update was impressive as well! I like the harbor view, it looks quite charming, also the downtown pic I think is great! keep it up!
  17. Sculpting Columbia River

Great update, as usual Jeronij! Love the terrain with the highway cutting through it. Must have taken you quite some time (the terraforming i mean) You know, I could just sit and look at the pictures of your cj for hours and discover something new every time.. it's just so detailed; you're still doing a great, great job!
  18. Fuscienne Bay

Nice update! The Goldiva mods look stunning every time I see someone put them into action.. The overview is goodlooking as well, can't wait for the rest of the area to develop!
  19. Great update. Very detailed work. Again you use SG's canals very well !
  20. The Brastoval Bay Area

Wow Aleking, now you've really done it! I'm replying to your previous update, I'll check the current one later. Right now I'm just too excited! That beachfront with the terrace-like cliffs is just SOOO amazing, can't believe it!! Also, your region map is looking absolutely great! It's almost impossible to do an even more impressive job, congratulations for having made one of the best updates ever After studying your pics I noticed something that I have been trying myself, but didn't succeed. In this pic, you made a bridge over a highway.. just how did you do that?? https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//khh.jpg align=baseline> Keep 'em coming!!
  21. San Francisco - Bay Area by Mexicanboy13r

Wow, another 'foggy' update! Love it, if that's photoshop editing, it's done really really well! Also, Presidio District is looking very realistic, the curling road and the slopes are just perfect, not too steep. Great work, keep em coming!
  22. Too bad I checked in so late in this wonderful cj Mickebear! I'm really sorry you put an end to it, but as I understand from your signature, you'll be busy with more exciting things... Those lots look absolutely great, you should do that more often! Isn't it surprising what one can actually do with the lot editor and some custom props/buildings? I've been fooling around with it myself lately, it's surprisingly easy.. Still your creations look great! I wish you luck on your next project! Cheerz, Utora
  23. Nexis of Genesis

Wow, you got lots of things going on mrB! I just hope nothing evil comes from those alien probes...
  24. The Cabel Bay Republic
