Wow, great series of updates! Great job on the 3d stuff and the newspaper; the citylayout is stunning, especially your job on the embankments and waterways; this is a great story! keep it up! -
Uh...oh. Suppose there's only one thing left to do for a couple that's got lost in the wilderness...

Wow, what a great and wonderful cj! There are many impressive things in here, but I especially like the last aerial shot, in which you have a particular way to wind your roads, so that they seem curve slightly from a distance, which REALLY adds to the realism! Great idea! Btw, a Happy New Year! -
Great to see some screenshots of an old game! I played this a lot!!!! For some reason, in Sc3k I was more concentrated on building and building until the whole map was full. In sc4 I'm kind of distracted by so many other features, such as terraforming that my largest sc4 city only reached some 500.000 residents. Great to see someone doing a sc3k cj, keep it up!

Interesting, I love history. Does Iceland have only 296000 inhabitants? I guess they have a lot of space left for... citybuilding! Look forward to more

OMG, that containership looks just amazing! Great stuff, really. Didn't know you started another cj, and heck... it has already reached page 43... Anyhow: keep it up!
-
Amazing terrafroming, great citybuilding! This one looks very promising, so... keep it up!
-
Amazing... where did you get those pictures from? I wonder what that lush alien planet will be like; let's hope they'll reach it without too much trouble!
-
Wow, it seems your journal is off to a great start! I like your writing style, and the pics are amazing. Imo it adds much to a cj if other pics are used as well, to blend in with the sc4-screenshots Keep it up, can't wait to see more!

Great start, great view! Look forward to see some developments up close!

Hey Leech! Tis been a while (a long while) since I've last visited Planet Myon, it seems a lot has happened... Got to catch up many pages; however, this update's looking good! I like the snowy terrain: PEG's mod? Great work, keep it up! (Next updates I'll comment on the story.. until then a lot of reading has to be done!) -
whoops.. sorry. Remove this post please

Hi. Currently I'm working on a medieval concept for building cities, as applied in Holland hundreds of years ago. As you can see the city has a symmetrical form, it looks bit like a star. The outer points used to have towers and fortresses to protect the town against attacking armies. These pictures are based on the canal-layout of Leiden, the city I live in. I tried to scale accurate which means that The total size of the city can house up to 40.000 residents (to compare: 16/17th century Leiden had some 30.000 residents. This is a rather excessive use of Oppies Canal sets, but quite realistic. Hope you enjoy! http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/4634/otrantisu1614rs1td.jpg align=baseline> http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/1179/otrantisu163rs8ah.jpg align=baseline> http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/3733/otrantisu161rs7tn.jpg align=baseline> http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/6375/otrantisu164rs9fy.jpg align=baseline>

Wow!! It's been a while since I last dropped in, and look what happened! Some GREAT updates again, Sirgeoj2, this keeps getting better and better. Somewhere you asked if this cj was easy to pass by, and if it blended well with the other cj's; do you mean that you're concerned that it isn't goog enough maybe? Well, relax, because this is one of the best cj's on Simtrop in everything: the story, the city-layouts, the incredible amount of detail, and the excellent photoshopping! I would say: Trixiematerial! I'm going to ask you for some tips on photoshop soon, I feel I could need that; Sorry I hadn't commented that much, but I'm extremely busy at the moment; The coming days/weeks I'll be moving to a new place, I have to work a lot to earn enough money, Pax Americana just started, and... college starts again. Anyways, you have my full support on this cj, keep it up!!

Wow, amazing updates Mike! The detail you put in this is just unbelievable; I wonder where some buildings come from, I don't recognize the Palm Grove Condos and the Museum of Hammock Hills. Are they on the STEX? keep it up!
-
Wow Aleking! Again some spectacular updates!! I LOVE that highway hopping from island to island, it's just wonderful! I've looked at it with great interest from a terraforming point of view: the detail is simply amazing, you must have put a lot of time in it/, great job! Also, I could study the last twisted pic with the SWI21 library in it for hours, just to figure out how you did that. It just looks as if it's a diagonal building, but I know it isn't keep it up!!
-
Wow, this seems to be the most intellectual cj of all times! Great history Sloppet, this is all new to me. I like the drawings and paintings much; keep it up!
-
Those are some AWESOME updates Shadow!! I'm still looking in awe at Cycledog's terrainmod, you make an excellent use of it! I like the developments as well as the mosaique pic. You manage to give everything a nice and charming taste, due to the detail you put in it! Great job, keep it up!

Great start! You have made a huge metropolis there? Why that name New Hague? Have you ever been in The Hague (I'm Dutch, so I wonder...) Don't worry about the replies.. You just have to show a little patience. Your cj needs some time to catch the interest of others you know.. If it's around for a while you will notice the replies coming in more frequently; just make sure to update it regularly I wish you luck with your first cj!! Thus far, I like it a lot

Date: 8/1/2005 7:05:19 AM Author: mrbisonm utora, I'd say, there is only between 50 and 60% of the Hi-Risers that grow by themselves and the others are plopped to give it more of a City-like look. I do have the NAM of course, not the radical one though, and I also have the commercial and industrial amplifier mod. You have to know though that I use a money cheat sometimes,a ploppable park that gives me 25,000

Sorry I can't help you more than that.quote> Hmm, I already thought so. Well, thanks anyway! I'm crawling back into my cave for another terraform session!
