SimCity 4 Crashes with Exception (Access Violation Error)
Yuxi replied to Cougar2004's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I have observed SC4 (with the update) running on four different clean systems with no plugins installed, and three of them crash randomly. Eventually I learned to just accept it and save often (as I said in another thread). -
I've seen it CTD on new systems with a clean install. I've learned to just accept it and save often.

1) CTD (the most time-wasting and frustrating problem) 2) Micromanaging school/hospital budget, especially in large cities. Unless I use the huge schools/hospitals mod, I end up spending almost ALL my time adjusting budgets for these insignificant things. How come my advisers can't take care of these small and tedious things??
-
Nice! I love GTA, can't wait to see more
-
THE most annoying thing I hate is how the advisers do nothing but complain about education/health funding and can't adjust each school/hospital's funding themselves. Especially in a large city I have to scroll through pages and pages of schools and hospitals and adjust the funding. It gets old after a while.

Speaking of nuclear plants, I'd like to see what it looks like when one of them blows up....never wanted to try it in one of my cities -

Date: 8/6/2004 8:11:20 PM Author: jmusshorn My plugins folder is somewhere around 300mb of the best ST has to offer! Along with other sites, of course... Here's a picture: Do note that the last folder displayed starts with 'F', and these are in alphabtical order. It's way easier to keep track of your plugins in folders, then if you have any problems, you can delete whatever it is that gives you the problems VERY quickly! - Jamesquote> That's how I organize it! But a lot of the things in my plugin folder are already all dumped in the root folder and the file names aren't very self-explanatory either. So I can't move all mine into folders now. But the big lots with several files are all in folders in my plugin folder.
