  1. Hey guys. Long time player of SC4 here. I recently reinstalled SC4 since SCSocieties was a lil lame. Since I last played SC4 I was using an AMD 3500+ and an NX7900GT. I've since upgraded to an AMD X2 3800+ and an 8800GT. I'm currently playing the game in windowed mode (1024*768) since I have a widescreen resolution. The only major complaint that doesn't bother me too much is a blurring that progressively occurs if my view remains idle. Things like cars/sims generally remain sharp or the blurring will go away if I zoom in/out or place something in my city. The blurring returns quickly. This I can live with. The blurring does not occur in full screen mode. Now I just started another city last night (I have a big problem restarting over n over n over n over again with new terrains). Anyways I have my early city laid out and ready for up to 10K people or so. The only problem is that, albeit having sufficient power supply and connections, half of my city is not receiving power and thus cannot grow. I've already built many small cities since I installed the game a few days ago but this electricity problem is a first. Here is a screenshot. You can also see some of the blurring I'm getting.
