I LOVE this game, but as everyone knows, the lag can be unbearable after a particular growth stage of the city. BUT I FOUND A FREE SOLUTION!!! TRY THIS PROGRAM! PROCESS LASSO Honestly, I'm the kind of person that never rates, write in forums, or leave comments on anything, but I HAD to share this with the cities XL community because it's so amazing! This program has improved my game performance beyond belief. There are two versions: 32 bit & 62 bit 1) Download the appropriate one for you. 2) Install 3) After the program opens, go to the first tab called "MAIN" 4a) Click "Gaming mode enabled" 4b) OR you can also find Cites XL in the process list, right click, then press "Enter gaming mode when running", this automates the gaming mode. 5) Enjoy! Mr. Tropod I made an account just to thank you : ) Your post ( Jun-26-2004 12:39 AM) is almost 6 years old, but I still felt obligated to thank you for putting it up!!! Bought SC4 on Ebay recently, & I apparently got the Euro version. All the forums out there only mention how to go from US to euro but not the other way around. I'm a very picky and meticulous person so little things like this drive me nuts!!!l(its a problem haha). So you just saved me from a big headache!!! Thanks again, God Bless.
