    The drivers that came with the card were version 5.5, the ATI site had both driver versions 6.0 and 11.1 for download. Dx had all 3-d features turned on and the Driver software was set up for gaming mode.

    I only have a Single Core CPU. Would it help if i roll back the video driver from version 11 to version 6?

    I no longer have the video card, i did not think there would be a problem to upgrade the video card.

I am playing Simcity 4 Deluxe with Maxis US Patch and no Addins In XP Pro with 2g RAM, Sound Blaster Audigy SE Card, ATI/AMD Radeon 9250 PCI 256m Video Ram Card (Video Res 1024x768), Pentium 4 2 Ghz, WD 300g EIDE HD (100gb Free). During Gameplay (usally after 10 or 15 min), the game slowsdown and then freezes on any game speed. I have only sound and video drivers loaded, and turned off networking processes and turned off security software at boot. I did not have this problem before upgrading both the sound card (Sound Blaster Live 5.1) and video card (ATI/AMD Radeon 9000 Pro AGP 4/8 128m Video Ram Card (Video Res 1024x768)). Please Help!
