I had to vote double no. First the game is still unplayable, mostly for the fact that I moved where I have no internet aside from my phone. Thusly there online only doesn't work, well see about patch 10 when I drag my tower to my sisters to patch everything. This is mostly my fault moving out of net, but why is the game online only anyway? Whole nother can of worms. Secondly I don't think they've done anything to redeem themselves. Core elements still dont function properly, simulation itself is flawed and even the xpack elements came broken, I'm looking at you mega towers. A free game (god why did I waste it on ds3) isn't enough to redeem, and patches with minimal patching leave a lot to be desired.

You waited this long, why not wait and see if the offline patch does what you want it to. I think at this point I'd wait mostly to see if the darn thing even works, who knows it could cripple the game worse.

Its nice to see the offline mode they once said couldn't be done being done. Now if they could only fix the broken simulation aspects. Such as people occupying the first job/house they run into. This will perhaps warrant me trying to get this reinstalled since I moved where there is no internet. Such places do exist, and I like many never thought I'd live there. So this means at least I can play my broken game.

Sweet, that solves my problems as well. Now i dont have to use those ugly maxis defaults.

OK that looks really pretty when its all said and done, but is all just a giant prop. It doesn't boost commerce or create jobs. Is threre an option out there that looks AND functions like an airport, because when my Sims demand an airport, they dont just want something that looks like one.
