woot! Thanks crashonline, your llama karma worked! - specifically pcgames.de.
  3. SimCity 4.5

This is exactly the type of thing I would be willing to donate money for. I don't know enough about the files currently available to give any help about what can be included but I'd be willing to donate any testing time/resources needed to make sure it all works correctly.

Well, Tilted Mill definitely seems to be saying the right things. And I have to say, I can't remember another company being so responsive to an initial reaction like this. So, despite everything I've read so far, I still actually have some hope for this game. I mean, the dream of SimCity for me is in planning, laying out. and building a city. Yes, I love the micro-management. But it does appear Tilted Mill at least is trying to get the big thing right so I'll give them a chance at least. We'll have to wait and see if the game is any fun or not. That being said, like the rest of us (I believe) I still hold out hope for a no-holds-bared true SimCity sequel with all kinds of details and a technical level beyond SimCity 4.
  5. New info!

So let me get this straight. SimCity was getting to complex? What the heck is Spore then? Seriously, Spore looks to be one of the most complex games in history yet it also appears to be presented in such a manner that someone can pick it up and begin playing it. Another thing. If they wanted to make a SimCity game less complex why not go back to the original SimCity or the SimCity 2000 level and make the mechanics of that game with awesome graphics and open modability? This game appears to be a modern version of Caesar which is fine and deserves a place on a gamer's shelf. Then call it Mayor or something. Don't try to pretend it's the next SimCity game.
