Your demand for farms are way too low. That is probably why.

Hows demand for the farms?
-
I've never had any issues with water pollution and farms though.

I wouldn't think a rename is going to help anything, but it might. Really, if you rename it without the number sequence in the region's file system (each file is a city), then you will really have problems!

You have to destroy the diplidated areas for them to grow back, because once diplidated, it is extremely hard to make them recover. Oh and education is definately not the issue here.

Your pictures are way too blurry, try takeing the pic and converting it to JPG and then leave it as it is, that helps. -

Your pictures are a bit blurry and distorted, I would recommend not resizing them, which it appears that you did. -
Streets to roads, roads to avenues, avenues to highways. \ Meaning destroy your roads and replace them with avenues, etc.... Upgrade your networks.
-
Right now I have shoes, but they are not in use. Barefoot!
-
Depending on the way you look at it, 200 a day is quite a lot, and this can spol farming, even with road networks. I was proved wrong on that one. I'd recommend upgrading some of your roads going through your farms and see if that helps.

Go to C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Regions, and copy the New York region into your plugins regions folder. You will lose all your cities on that tile, but it does remove the hole in the region. You jsut have to start fresh.

SimCity Startup Manager won't work

The ways that could have happened is: Traffic really is bad enough cause diplidation. (allthough I doubt it) Pollution is bad enough to cause diplidation (I have seen it before) May we see your pollution charts? Because I don't really think traffic could be the issue here.

My only thought is that you should have destroyed the building on hand before editing them. Try destroying them now. And if that doesnt work there are plants out there that remove pollution. Also, let me take a look see please.

SimCity Startup Manager won't work

The Startup manager lets you make certain "laws" of sort to load certain regions with crtain plugins. Startup Manager -
The crash must have corrupted the city's file. Each city has its own file, and if you were saving it, it must have become corrupted it. If not, then the crash corrupted it. Sadly, I am afraid there is nothing you can do about that, unless it is one of the starter regions.

Originally posted by: Dizastrow I like to play a "naked game" every once in a while. I just have to hang in there. 4 more months to go until my new computer comes along! Cause I am not messing with that thing again, but that is irrelevant. Then I can go wild, spoil the game. My game was going on the bigger part of 1½ GB, by the way.

I really wouldn't attempt to play such a game on a laptop unless you paid $500 bucks for it.

The largest city ever, I mean ever
joshriddle replied to paulmc's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
My biggest is nothing to brag about. It got up to 230,000 before it hit an awful (and vicious demand cap). Long story short, this demand cap started destroying the city bits and pieces, so I abandoned it, and is now gone until I can get a new computer.
