Try removing the CAM and see if it helps. Leave the NAM, this doesn't cause anything.

As for drive issues I recommend the program CCleaner; it removes temp files, bad registry errors, flushes your DNS cache and improves system performance overall. If you're on Win7 don't bother with the Registry Cleaner part! I wouldn't bother downloading anything else then Registry Mechanic when it comes to the stuff that Windows provides for you for maintenance. Actually the bloat Microsoft sometimes puts on their OSs is a good thing. Defrager is a lifesaver. Oh and don't bother with cleaning the registry? Registry Mechanic is extrememly sensitive to the tiniest unnoticeable issues, and repairing them can help greatly. Did you know that for each file you open in MS Paint, after you save it it turns up as a problem? That said, registry cleaners IMP are necessary for any Windows platform.

Originally posted by: Duke87 I have yet to see or hear anything in a video game, movie, TV show, website, etc. that truly offends me. I suspect I am incapable of it.quote> Me too. I only personally find the ones that are offensive the ones with extremely heavy language, or innapropriate conduct. Even then I never watch those. Really I've come across a lot of offending websites---- the ones that are pirating video games or uploading things from other sites illegally as torrents. Other than that I'm not offended too much by that stuff.

I'm still dreaming and trying getting a new doggie. I can picture Ginger and whats his name sitting next to eachother.

Oh the Solid states. I wouldn't get one of those until 2015. Until then I'm sticking with the disk drives. Try also doing stuff such as getting a registry clearner, I use Registry Mechanic, clean the registry every day, compact it every few days.

Awful. Just awful. I can't believe people can be so relentless. What are they gonna do next? Kill internet alltogether? We need George Washington here to tell the Federal Government to stay out of our business.

I had that problem too, and I had all my settings set to high, try setting the renderer to hardware if at software, and if at software, hardware. Currently mine is running at hardware at a Radeon 4550 and I don't have a problem.

Originally posted by: bigthing Thanks, i will do that later :-D Will post the results (fingers crossed!)quote> I can virtually guarantee that a defragment helps. Also run Disk Cleanup, and then do an error check on the disk (Chkdsk). Disk cleanup disposes of TEMP files the game leaves behind from your last session, improving performance when it comes to the game. I actually defrag it whenever I get off the computer, and regardless if I am leaving for ten minutes, I defrag it. Even when everything is packed together as tight as sardines I defrag it even more. It greatly, and I mean greatly helps.

That exactly what my downtowns are like! I actually like the smaller ones like yours because there isn't so many traffic problems. I had some before that I could have shared but I lost them in a computer crash! I'm building a new one though, I'll post a pic then.

With regards to the new question, it is a skill thing. And one thing that you have to learn is to be yourself when it comes to the game. That is their playing style, and you will develop one of your own. Each one is unique, and each one has its things about it that are special. You're approaching a huge learning curve, one that I am onboard right now, my RHW interchanges were awful at first, now I am getting better, but they are way to big, the MIS ramps are too wide. So I work at ways to make them smaller. Then the route looks unrealistic when it goes up into mountains. Download the RHW slope mod, make it even better yet. Take slow steps, and you'll get there. Also it isn't about making the town pretty in my sight. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I have made some very pretty communitys sitting on the foot of a mountain, and they look good, but they are different from everyone elses. The main purpose of the game is challenge. While I sometimes sweat over finding the perfect mods, it doesn't hinder me from enjoying this game, which is quite like role-playing. What do yours look like anyway?
