Once I develop my city at a good rate, with lots of bats and stuff my game starts to lag every time I load that city....I selected that the computer runs the game on one processor....I think im gonna change it to two again...these are my specs: Inter Core 2 Duo CPU P 8700 @ 2.53Ghz 4.00 GB Ram 640 Bit OS Windows 7

I been looking for this on the STEX for ever now, and I was wondering if anyone knows what I have to search to download the European highways....so they look black instead of the in game gray

so the buildings I plop wont be inhabited by sims? its just there for show? thanks for the link

well the ones that needed to be installed I installed, the ones that needed to be moved to the PLugins folder I moved. I am gonna check all the folders to make sure that they are not actually installs...

I downloaded several BAT, suburban houses, but when they get constructed they end up all looking different...I seen many city journals where people have a whole area with the same type of houses...and these are not just BATS u can place, they actually grow, so how do I make them grow to be all the same if I have like 20 different types in my plugins folder...

So I started a city, but then last night I deleted it all since it just looked stupid.... I want to make a farm/industry on one side of the city and across the river Im gonna make commercial buildings, hightower residentials Is there a tutorial on how to make a realistic looking farm and suburbs?

So I literally downloaded like 100+ BAT files....and only like 30 or so are in the actual game....I made sure I have all the dependencies, and all of them were installed right, and placed in the Plugins folder.... How come they are not showing up?

so I am trying to load this map https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=22598 but for it I need one of these, seems like neither work for windows 7....I downloaded SC4M and it just opens the screen with a blue banner and closes.....SC4Terraformer doesnt work at all..... Is there a way I can bypass this? Or is there a new version of these map importers? Please help, Thanks

I dont have any mods for the terrain, I simply placed the gray image and the bmp file into the regions folder and named it after the city....I load the folder, then press CTRL+ALT+Shift+R ....I load the gray map....then the game starts to load everything and then at the end if just crashes....I try to open the game again nothing happens, I have to retard my game to get it working again.... I have a ASUS gaming laptop.... the specs are WAYYYYY above the recommended specs for the game...

I am trying to load a new terrain (Taipei)....the files load and then at the end it just shuts down and nothing happens.... I have no idea whats causing it.... I recently changed my configuration on the exe file to make it widescreen, that could be the one thing causing it.... ? Edit: Also when I restart the game again, the "region" is loaded but nothing is like its suppose to be its just a general outline of the terrain, no mountains, rivers, hills, etc....Just huge green city tiles

Does anything like that excist? Like a thread where u can get tips on what Bats and textures to download, like the most crucial ones?

the way I have it set up is: -Introff -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -f But the intro still plays at the beginning? WTF ? everything else works great tho....thanks for this thread...I really hated when I installed the game and it was full screen....now I can enjoy it again

I am getting back to this game after not playing for like 2 years. The last time I played I made a city and I had industry and everything else in one city tile...can I make a industry city in another tile, and then join this tile with my main residential area via Highway, and railroad? Will this work? I really want to make this as legit as possible and have a industry city and business cities, suburb cities, etc.... thanks guys
