  1. How to increase rail station capacity

z1, Again thanks for explaining these details. I'm sure they're buried in the forum somewhere, but as a Simtropolis it's almost too much to parse. Are there any collaborative docs, like a wiki, for SimCity and any of the major projects, like the NAM? It'd be nice to read a compendium of all the specs for the game engine. P.S. The wiki at SC4D looks promising. Any other suggestions?
  2. How to increase rail station capacity

Thanks, I guess I thought beta 1 meant there was another, newer version. Obsolete add-ons are the worst.
  3. How to increase rail station capacity

z1, thanks for the added insight. I'm not sure that the passengers walk the distance of the station ( I don't notice a pink arrow), but I am using simulator Z, which overrides the default Maxis value, correct? The station "jumping" aside, I'm trying to figure out if it's normal behavior for a set of linear stations, one starting at a main trunk; the last at end of the branch, to experience usage at each station roughly equal the sum usage at the remaining stations. For instance, station A, near the trunk, will have 6k riders, station B 4k and station C 2k; however, at each station the departing sims seem nowhere near these volumes, except for the terminal station. It makes sense the the rail itself would follow this pattern, but should the stations? If the rail itself is at capacity, does the over-usage of the stations even matter? P.S. As a side note, for the life of me I can't figure out where to get the HSR mod. Plenty of forum posts but I can't narrow it down to the actual add-on. It isn't the high-rail included with the NAM is it?
  4. How to increase rail station capacity

Could someone explain if there is a way to avoid the "passenger jumping" problem. It seems unrealistic that a busy line would also mean each station is over capacity? It seems like only the line itself should be saturated. Or Is this the way SC4 lets you know a line is over committed?
  5. Nonfunctional Rail/Ferry

I'm having trouble with rail, all my stations seems to be maxed out. Oddly, it seems that passengers are getting off and getting back on at each stop, so with a chain of stations, the first will be super overloaded, while each additional a little less so. I'm using the NAM z pathfinding medium, as well as Jasoncw's train station pack mixed with stock stations.
