  1. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

If I can upload that region somewhere, I am glad to, but you know, the bandwidth... That region is made by terraforming tools (God mode), not jpg image or anything, so the file sizes are f-----g huge. If anybody can come up with a way that is the reverse of loading regions and create jpg from region, tell me.

Hey, you, stop it. This is not North Korea And WWHAT A FU.... Looking at this from the other way, Captain Piccard, teleporter is malfunctioning.
  3. Official BAT Request Thread

I couldn't find anything of this kind. Can anybody make the superskyscrapers of Coruscant, the ones in Star Wars?

Hey, those who are having language troubles on this thread, copy and paste the Japanese script and I will translate. (but please do not overload me.)
  5. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

Exams are over. I'm back in SimCity. So, here are some updates. There was a big problem with this city, which is how can I fit industry in!? Then I came up with this. All freight and commuters go through that Kane Tiberium. Of course, freight is very short and commute time is also short. However, sooner or later, this industrial area will be demolished to give way to hi-rises... The population is now 1.6 million

  9. City Name Database

Many of them are from here, my 2nd region Pilipolis- (have a look at this thread in experiments section https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=49610 ) Personally, I think city names in English tends to be crappy. So, I often go for Greek, Latin, Japanese, Chinese, Russian and French. Some of the city names that are not in Pilipolis are Lazure Utopia Central Megapolis NE, SE, SW, NW The Flatland Helium Hills Agrodrome Zero Agrodrome One --- up to Agrodrome Four South Pilipolis Magna Envisage Project Binomial Extension Chinmoku no Gake (

As I said in the 12th post, here is where the city names come from. Northern Lithopolis : obviously, it is in the north. Also, a bit rocky and mountainous. Rock City in Latin (or Greek? donno) would be Lithopolis Terra Envisage : As you can see on this thread, it is a massive experiment city. The land for envisaging - Terra Envisage Cosmosphere Town : This city has got a space port. So, Cosmo Town ... this name sucks. Since the terrain has kind of concentric round pattern, sphere - oh, Cosmosphere Town, that sounds cool. Triesta Town - Three pieces of land, the rest, all water. I remember, there was a French submarine called Trieste that went far below 10000m. Just alterned the name a bit. Hydroargentina Valley : One side of this city is industrial. Maybe spilling off some mercury (that would be horrible!) so, Mercury Valley ... doesn't sound cool, let's fudge a bit - Hydroargentina Valley, yeah, sounds cool. Regia City : The river flowing in the middle is called Aqua Regia (the damn acidic mixture of nitric acid and hydochloric acid) because I like chemistry. So, taking the city name from the river (that is pretty common in the real world) , Regia City Flea Economic Trade Area : As I explained earlier... Sougou Seisakusho 2-chome :

  12. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

Hmm... Development is kind of stalling. Since the population is already above 1.4M, the reason is likely to be the lack of industry or commercial services. So what I am going to do next: Use one of the undevelped neighbors, Chinmoku no Gake (

Can anybody explain what's going on with this Walkup Tower?<br>
  14. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

As I expected, mySims are too dumb for this glorious city. So, I want to propagate one thing for those 1.4 million comrades (sims). ~~~Free yourself from automobiles. The Future lies here at Magna Envisage Project~~~ Anyway, all sims seems like happy to commute without cars.

still, HOW DID YOU DO THAT!!!??? The city is so stylish! Probably, you need to rename the city into a bit more fantasic way. Mount Mordor? Middle Earth?
  16. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

Yes, that Flea Economic Trade Area is a joke. I wanted to make a commercial city (like Hong Kong, a Free Economic Trade Area) to provide jobs, but there was not enough population to support skyscrapers. So, I just ended up getting LOTS of Flea Markets. - Why not change the city name into Flea Economic Trade Area? right now, I have one major report about the city, Magna Envisage Project, which is the main theme of this thread. Will come back to explain those crazy city names...

ah, by the way, this is Pilipolis You can see the full-size version at http://boncyan.zive.net/cgi-bin/joyful2/img/109.jpg And there it is, Terra Envisage on the north.
  19. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

I finally learned how the forums of Simtropolis work. So, I just make a fresh start on this expanded high density subway city project. (Call it The Envisage Project.) City 1- Terra Envisage This city is based on 8x8 blocks with all road intersections replaced with tube stations. So, sims can not commute by car, but on foot and tubes. However, this city is not based purely on that system, since it has to go along with neighbouring cities. (The city is actually a part of a bigger one called Pilipolis, the entire region.) So, the city has highways and trains in some parts. This city yielded a high develpment with foot and tubes being the only means of transportation. To prove that point that high development occur in areas where foot and subways are the only means of transportation, this image, Sims commuting from the Twin Peak Tower (lv 8 building) solely on foot and tubes. As I stated before, this city is not purely a subway city. So, I started a new city that is structured purely on this system. The city name - Magna Envisage Project with neighbouring support city names Cube, Digital Chip Square, Chinmoku no Gake, Binomial Extension. (

The building in SC4, Kane Tiberium is the EA's tribute to Westwood Studio, the creator of CnC. ...btw EA crushed Westwood Studio, I heard.

My Car is a hydrofoil Man: Hoeny, there is where my new job is, just next to the highway exit. Wife: Ay, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! We are gonna fall off the way!!! -crash- (but still reached the destination, no matter dead or alive...)
  22. Expanded high-density subway city, Terra Envisage

This picture proves that even a subway-only city can host high developments. This picture is from Terra Envisage. (see attached image) ...I have 3 other important pictures from Magna Envisage Project, but I donno where to upload to show directly on this forum!!! anyway, will find out
