  1. Cityscape

LivingInThPast, Developers are using CityScape to make urban based games today. If you take a look at our clients page, you can get a hint of the types of titles in development. On another note, we just released a new version of CityScape 1.8.3 which has many of the "game" features this community may be interested in. CityScape 1.8.3 has been released and is immediately available for download. The changes for 1.8.3 include: Support for Intel graphics, ability to save terrains, gamepad controller layout added, user data path updated, and improved stability. http://pixelactive3d.com/News/Press/?prId=925
  2. Cityscape

Hi Simtropolis Community, We appreciate your kind words about CityScape. We work hard every day to make it the best city modeling software available. CityScape is currently being used by video game developers, simulation developers, urban planners, and more. We would love for everyone who is interested in CityScape to be able to use it and we do hope that one day, we can make it affordable for everyone. When that day comes, we'll be sure to post it here on Simtropolis. For now, I can point you to some more CityScape videos so that you can see what CityScape is capable of and how to get the most out of the demo. http://www.youtube.com/user/PixelActive3d Regarding the comments about the building texture quality. CityScape ships with a default library of buildings and textures. As a developer, you can import your own library and use buildings with higher quality geometry and texture sizes. The stock library is built for both quality and speed. To support large environment, (CityScape can create cities in excess of 15km x 15km), it's important to save resources where possible. Though we have some amazing LOD technology in CityScape, this doesn't completely alleviate hardware constraints. I hope you understand. Some of our clients have produced photo realistic environments with highly detailed buildings when working in smaller environments. Thank you for supporting CityScape. We'll keep working hard on it and try to get it in everyone's hands sooner rather than later. -The PixelActive Team
