Why would you think that ENDA is off-topic? However, a reference would be nice, since not everyone knows what you are talking about. =) Barbarossa quote> Yes, But everyone was currently talking about nuclear arms and me talking about ENDA is going off topic a bit on my mind. ENDA is bill that would stop employment discrimination against the LGBT community. Basically, if it passed you can't be fired or discriminated against by your employer for being who you are. I believe that's correct, but I don't stay too up to date on these things.

Why can't we get rid of nukes in all of the nations that seek to use them offensively? Then only the more defensive nations would have them and there would really be no point. Oh and The Employment Non Discrimination Act needs to be passed ASAP. 'nuff said.

  10. Aurora Valley - A Couple Of Questions!

Update 1: A small introduction. Aurora Valley is my new city journal attempt where I have seriously tried to do a more quieter "country" style city journal with alot of nature. The valley is rather large, but only has a total population around 83,000 for like 10 or 12 large tiles. The main city is Aurora View, which currently has a population of about 46,000. It has two suburbs with populations of about 8,000 and 5,200. The rest of the population is spread out in farm communities and little villages. Feel free to always give me honest comments filled with anything you feel you want to put such as praise or criticism. I know I haven't done too well with staying up with my journals, so I hope to take a slower pace but keep on schedule. Today and for the next few updates I will be posting a couple pictures of the more rurals area's that started my work on the journal and kept it going. Thanks for viewing!

I will quit reading this if it includes the other City Journal section, I dislike how cold and impersonal it seems and thus don't go in there anymore. *Starts a protest*

  13. Avista by Lacey14

Hey, I'm Lacey and I have been playing sim city for a long time. I recently found out about this site and started downloading custom content and was itching to try my hand at a city journal. So over the past month or so I have been working on "Avista". I hope you like it, and if you do, comment(Although there wont be alot to comment on until the next update). Avista This is a photograph of the land taken in 1920, right before this area(Now known as the suburbs) was overtaken by the population. Avista was founded by pioneers in the late 1890's. The town was built on very wetland that had alot of vegitation and rich soil. The pioneers however were not that smart in choosing a center for their town hall. The center of the city was, and still is at the lowest elevation in the area. Frequent floods ravaged the town through out the years. However, with the work that was put in by the citizens, many people from all around moved to avista. By the year 1958 it was a considered a city by many. Today the city has grown to a residential population of 283, 407 and a metro population of 602,034. Coming Soon!

  15. Avista by Lacey14

Lately I haven't had much time to work on anything Sim City 4 Related, but I might try again soon. I haven't been able to create a city and invest as much interest as I had with Avista. I'm still mourning the loss in a way. I felt like revisiting old times and I think I found a photo or two I hadn't posted. Here are some old shots (some posted some not). Feel free to nominate me for a trixie, that was my original goal with this journal but it didn't last as long as I would have liked. This post is kind've a reminder to not forget about this journal as well, but I pretty much know I won't get nominated lol. Enjoy, and who know's maybe I will stumble across a city journal I enjoy updating again:

  17. McPhee County Founded: 1822 Population: 614,780 County Seat: Womack Largest City: Womack(Pop: 293,452) Transportation: McPhee County has two major rail routes running through it as well as a few minor routes. McPhee County has a main interstate and a minor interstate aswell. Landscape: Almost completly flat it is known to many as the "Floor" of the Midwest. Fey River, a major tributary of the Missouri River runs through McPhee County. McPhee County, while having a relatively good sized city within its boundaries is still a rural area which can be seen in all areas from small towns to cities(to a lesser extent) Disclaimer: I have never really been anywhere outside of the west coast of the US/Canada + Finland and therefor have little idea of what the midwest is like, I have just seen it in photo's and that is my sole inspiration for this journal. It is completely based on FICTION. Later on in this journal it will become interactive, you have been warned _______________________________________ Table Of Contents: Update .1 Preview 1 Update .2 Preview 2 Update .3 Preview 3 Update .4 Preview 4 Update 1 A Trip To A Cabin Update 2 A Better Look At Leona Update 3 The Leona Tribune Update 4 The Leona Tribune 2 - Sink Hole Update 5 Financial Planning Update 6 Seven Flags - Columbia Update 6.5 Port Moore Update 7 Explosion In Port Moore __________________________________________________ (Note: Most of the previews will be of the County Seat - Womack to not give too much away) Please Comment, the more comments I get the faster the previews will roll out. -Love Lacey.
  18. -- McPhee County Update Number #7 --

It will be here soon as its a developmental one where I mostly just have to terraform and what not. Its gonna start in the year 1857, with migrating families that fell off of the (near end of the) oregon trail to settle a new town.
  19. -- McPhee County Update Number #7 --

You guys are all gonna hate me... I feel like a horrible person telling you this, but I will not be going on with this city journal, I had many updates planned and the region was looking good and developed, although still not finished. I feel like a failure, But this is just not what I intended it to look like. I find myself going around my cities looking for the most realistic portions to take pictures of as it did not really look that much like the midwest. I had no idea what the midwest really looked like and I wanted to try this experiment, which totally failed. The majority of my region did not look like that. So I will be going with what I know on my next city journal, the pacific northwest -- Specifically Oregon. I hope I am not alienating those of you who have been following my CJ's(I miss avista ). My Next CJ will be a develop as we go type of thing, inspired by San Paso. I will be doing updates as the years go by and development continues, but I will also be asking you guys what should be developed when every so often. I promise that my next CJ will go on for pages and pages, please forgive me. Seriously Sorry, But Excited -- Lacey. <3

I'm gonna try to stay up on comments when I have free time like right now, but not enough to update. That way I have more time to update since I won't have to do replies. ComputerGuy890100: Yes, Run. But the fire should be taken care of... Thanks. Wwetom1: Thanks, haha. I like New Jersey(your CJ) BTW
