Fair call Rakeesh. I have not played online yet; does gameplay change when online? is there a sence of competition i.e. in trade?

I just started playing the game, I just start plopping High density buildings and soon I have like a mini city with 200,000... I just trade farms, water, offices for money. Is that it? I think i could get a million population easy with just repeating the process?

I added some more development today, i'll add some smaller houses next to the farmlands soon too. I did have a 8 lane highway (for show )... untill i was making -80,000 a month

This will be my first Journal for Cities XL! There is going to be no plan to my city or anything, as I don't really know what I'm doing. Northam opened up and after a few min's of working out the controls I invested into lots of farms! I didn't like the idea of having lots of little houses so I build apartments! So far I'm making 20,000 per month and things seem to be going fine, check out the pics! As my City has no plan? does anybody have any suggestions to what should happen next?
